Daaliah is a Malaysian DJ/Producer based in Kuala Lumpur who is also part of the label SaturdaySelect. Known for his Edits and doing his own take on artists such as Yaeji, Kendrick Lamar, Pink Sweat$, Daniel Caesar and many others, his distinctive bounce and rhythm in the tracks see a fusion of various genres such as house, baile, trap, jazz, R&B put together into one.

Ho Chi Minh City bases DJ Abi Wasabi plays her signature combination of Techno, Trance and Vina House. Working in the day time at Pizza 4Ps, by night she’s part of the rave collective Nhac Gãy and in the underground scene she’s famous and notorious for her destroying clubs & moving crowds sound.

Berlin-based DJ iamkimkong plays her signature combination of RnB, Future Soul and Bass as a resident of Kreuzberg‘s premiere Event location, Prince Charles. She regularly appears at popular festivals like Melt and Feel and her runway-mixes are a constant at Berlin Fashion Week. Susanna Kim was born to Korean parents in the small of Gladbeck. She moved to Berlin where her work on the perfect mixtape culminated in her first DJ gig. She has since then refined a genre-bending style of mixing and production to create an extremely danceable sound. Iamkimkong has shared the stage with Diplo, Lunice and Trettman and has played for notable magazines like Numéro and L‘Officiel Hommes as well as iconic brands like Adidas, Apple, Google and Instagram. In 2020 she started releasing remixes and originals.

It’s been a while, but we’re back to bring you new music and talks in collaboration with the best Southeast - East Asian artist and speakers all around the world. A spectacular one day digital festival experience, bringing together the most talented names of the Asian community.
On Saturday January 30, BaylenFM organising “House Arrest” Episode 003, the digital festival: a spectacular entertainment experience open to people of all ages and places, unfazed by borders or boundaries. We are streaming from 5 countries, 7 cities, 3 continents.
Beside the performances we also invited Podcasts from all around the world to bring you inspirational talks related to lifestyle, culture and their stories. Together with the performances, digital festival “House Arrest” Episode 003 by BaylenFM will be a full day experience between 1 PM until 10 PM CET.

The People of the Asian community & Allies are invited to experience this unique event together with friends: dressing up with your best festival outfit, putting up tents in your back garden to create your own DreamVille, setting up a big screen, inviting your beloved ones for a nice barbecue with music and an amazing festival experience, decorating your balcony or throwing a party in your living room – this weekend is all about celebrating our people, our cultures, our communities we living in and uniting through the power of music in a responsible and safe way. Three months post-explosion, it remains crucial to and support the ongoing project of relief, recovery, and rebuilding. This wonderful conversation with Danny from was initially shown as part of our digital festival series „House Arrest“.

Alia and Nadia from The Q***r Arabs Podcast and Danny from discussing the goals of the project, how LGBTQ people have been particularly impacted following the explosion, and the importance of centering marginalized communities in rebuilding and reimagining better society.

Merve Kayikcis Podcast „Primamuslima – Wir reden mit!“ startet beim BR. Die Journalistin spricht mit Muslimen in Deutschland über Liebe, Leben und Gott.

Ein neuer Podcast des Bayerischen Rundfunks (BR) soll Einblicke in den Alltag von muslimischen Menschen in Deutschland geben. Mit „Primamuslima – Wir reden mit!“ wolle man ein Zeichen für Diversität und religiöse Vielfalt setzen, teilte der BR mit. Moderiert wird das sechsteilige Projekt von Merve Kayikci, die zuvor den Podcast „Mashalla“ produzierte.
Merve spricht in dem Podcast mit Muslimen über ihren beruflichen, familiären und religiösen Alltag. Neben Themen wie Liebe, Freundschaft, Politik und Arbeit soll es dabei auch um das gehen, „was Muslimen den Alltag in Deutschland schwer macht.“
Die Journalistin Kayikci nannte den Podcast ein „Herzensprojekt“. „Oft werde ich von Journalisten als Interviewpartnerin angefragt, wenn es um Islamthemen geht“, so die 26-Jährige. „Dabei gibt es doch noch so viele andere interessante Muslime in Deutschland.“ Einen kleinen Ausschnitt dieser Vielfalt wolle sie jetzt in dem Podcast zeigen.

Mit Klischees aufräumen
Neben den persönlichen Geschichten will sie auch Basiswissen über den Islam einfließen lassen, etwa, was „halal“ bedeutet oder was am Opferfest gefeiert wird. Die Stuttgarterin Kayikci gewann mit ihrem Podcast „Mashalla“, der sich ebenfalls der Lebenswelt von Muslimen in Deutschland widmet, 2019 den Wettbewerb „Originals gesucht“ von Deezer und re:publica.

Spending the last years traveling and performing around the world with her techno alter ego, she soon realized that it didn’t fulfill her musical wise.
Seeking for a new challenge and some changes, she founded with her friends Temo Sayin a new underground movement called Die Empathie focused on more downtempo and organic sounds. Started with an illegal rave in Zurich with over 1000 people in a construction basement, followed by a sunday rooftop event with rampue for only 300 people, an 18 hours rave in a warehouse and a nostalgic funfair daydance with Powel & Maga, now die Empathie not only became an unique experience but also a home for same-minded & empathic people who truly appreciate the music and celebrate life.

Now, residing half a year in Asia and half a year in Switzerland you can call her sound a fusion between this two cultures. A perfect mix between organic, ethnic and synthetic sounds.

Deep, melodic, emotional,tribal, ethnic & organic… MYLE is using this mix to enhance storytelling in her sets , to put a piece of art out there, creating something new and communicating a deeper level of understanding and telling a story which take both creator and audience on a journey. TUAN:ANH is part of the five-headed Berlin-based artist collective Bass Gang, co-founder of the label Tactic Signals and part of Colors Studios. Anh’s sound encompasses a wide spectrum of tempi and synthesises the influences of various genres: hip hop, r&b, reggaeton, jersey club, old school grime instrumentals and kuduro. He has a long-standing affection for West-Coast US instrumental hip hop (DJ Mustard, Traxamillion) as well as for Latin American drum music, UK funky and underground club music.
Anh’s latest label project, Tactic Signals, is a collaboration with DJ JM from Vilnius. It combines the essentials of club music structures—heavy drum sounds and catchy melodies—with inspirations from 00s hip hop and r&b.
Bass Gang was started in Berlin in 2012 by DJ peers Gofi and Minoto (the two grew up together in Berlin’s Friedrichshain neighborhood and were in the same dance troupe). In an effort to distance themselves from Berlin’s legendary techno scene, the collective began to host parties (Nachtbarschaftsbass) and play music they felt better represented their own experiences in the Hauptstadt. Bass Gang’s five crew members (Minoto, Gofi, Ostblokkk, J.Cloud and Tuan:Anh), have unique styles but are united by a love of early 00s hip hop and r&b. Their sets fuse underground sounds from UK funky, garage, grime, and jersey club to kuduro, zouk and ghetto house.
On Saturday, August 22nd, Bass Gang Member TUAN:ANH will take over our digital festival and represent the recent and ongoing diversification of the Germanys capital city’s club sounds.

Phạm Ng. Hanh Ngân also known as hnhngan, is a singer-songwriter from Hanoi, Vietnam.
Ngân’s music career started in the early months of 2017 when she wrote and released her first song “Chờ Em Nhé” under her alias “hnhngan” – an abbreviation of her name – on SoundCloud. But it wasn’t until December of the same year that her songs started to grab the attention of Hanoi’s Independent music scene with her first hit “My Christmas Wish”. She then proceeded to release monthly covers of local independent music artists as well as posting her original songs.
hnhngan’s music draws inspiration from the beauty of life and innocent love. She wrote music as a way of appreciating that beauty and to spread her message of positivity, hoping to make a positive change in her listeners lives, one way or another. Because of this and her precise work ethics, she quickly gained the respect and attention from other Hanoi-based artists, kick-starting a promising career as a singer-songwriter.
In late 2018, she met with her soon to be long-time collaborators Ngơ and nân and proceeded to sign with them onto CDSL . Releasing her first single as a part of the said art collective on April 15th, 2019 titled “Take Care”, produced by TGSN and featuring herself alongside with HaiSam.

Earlier this year, we launched our new digital festival „House Arrest“ to celebrate the Asian Community. The first lineup included headliners such as Rice And Shine Podcast, Ich bin kein Virus (Germany), Duy Tuan (Vietnam), Fung Fung (Vietnam), Levi Oi (Germany) and many more.
Now we want to tell you that our digital festival „House Arrest“ will be entering the second round.
This time we added multiple locations on our map like Bangkok, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City, Los Angeles and New Jersey. We promise you will be undoubtedly satisfied with the additions and will be looking forward to the experience.
