"To sum it up, with their third album Frosted Undergrowth have written a really good black metal album with 7 tracks that are quite entertaining. Sometimes some more twists in the plot might have been nice but this album is much better than 95% of the black metal releases that come out every month."

Old buddies, scouring concert halls and bars, G.S.V (vocals) and Tom L (guitar) decided to form a band together, allowing them to control the composition and direction from start to finish. Faced with a growing number of ambient-oriented releases, they wanted to raise the tone with a very straight forward project. Speed, power, and a touch of melody, added with some healthy hate - this is how they laid the foundations for Oppression.blackmetal, quickly joined by Predark (guitar).
Once the composition of the first album was well underway, they brought in two well-known musicians from the Bordeaux scene to fill the positions on drums and bass: the brothers John (Otargos, Lifestream) and Désert (Lifestream). Together, they finalized the first opus NO SAFE PLACE, ready to hit you without restraint!

Hope... Believe... There is No Safe Place For You!!!
