Hey Leute, BIG NEWS in Erfurt!!!
Wir sind ganz aufgeregt mitzuteilen, dass diesen Oktober eine Livekonzert-Reihe in der startet.
Einmal monatlich treten dort Künstler*innen aus dem Ghost Palace Kosmos auf. Die Idee ist, eine Bühne für vorwiegend unbekannte, aber unbedingt sehenswerte (inter)nationale Liveacts zu schaffen, die vor voller Bude auftreten können. Der Eintritt ist frei, alle spenden, was sie können.
Wir beginnen mit einem vollgepackten Eröffnungswochenende am 26. und 27.10.2024. Seid mit uns gespannt und voller universeller Vorfreude!

Hey guys, BIG NEWS in Erfurt!!!

We are very excited to announce a live concert series which is starting this October at Universal Drogerie.

Once a month, artists from the Ghost Palace cosmos will perform there. The idea is to create a stage for predominantly unknown but definitely worth seeing (inter)national live acts to perform in front of a full house.

We kick off with a jam-packed opening weekend on October 26th and 27th, 2024. Join us in being excited and full of universal anticipation!

Mummy’s a Tree: Farewell Album & Tour

Our dearest Mummy's a Tree is calling it quits. After a dynamic career of 28 years founder Stefan van den Berg believes it is time for new paths. Mummy's a Tree made 7 albums and 2 Eps and did supports for dEUS, My Morning Jacket, Big Country, The Long Winters & Sea + Air. In 2022 they released their critically acclaimed album ‘New Song’, recorded in Berlins famous Hansa Studio 'by the wall' (think David Bowie, U2 & Depeche Mode) with producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Skin and Regina Spektor).

Mummy's a Tree says goodbye with an album & tour. The album ‘Mummy Loves Strings’ (release October 4) is a collection of chamber pop songs in the tradition of Rufus Wainwright, Divine Comedy & Nick Drake and will physically only be available in a limited vinyl edition. Which comes packaged in an upcycled version of the cover of their debut record! To receive it before the release date, including a unique Mummy’s a Tree souvenir, use our homepage.

The band performs its farewell tour in a special international line-up with Daniel Benyamin (drums), Gordon Ashdown (bass) and Stefan van den Berg (guitar/vocals), visiting the most important German & Dutch places from their career. Beside songs from the new album, the band plays a generous ‘best of’ of their career. Band leader Stefan will take you to the heart of the songs by sharing introspective, therapeutic and funny Mummy facts & fiction. Mummy’s a Tree like you’ve never seen & heard them before.
