The idea behind Vechornytsi in Berlin is to create a safe space for Ukrainians, refugees, and all of Berlin’s diverse community to come together for an evening of release, expression, support, and awareness. Through these efforts, we donate all proceeds to relevant efforts taking place in Ukraine, while spreading knowledge of the current state of russia’s terrorist attacks.

Continuing our work of spreading modern Ukrainian culture, we join THF for an afternoon of music and words shared by some of the amazing Ukrainian talent currently located in Berlin

This more relaxed mix invites you to sit back and listen closely to the music. In addition to Ambient and Hip Hop, there is also Downbeat, laid-back House and a few dubby tracks. Completing the mix is the track "we go (vocal only)" by McKenzie Wark who is an Australian-born writer, theorist and professor of media and cultural studies. She is also the author of Reverse Cowgirl and Raving, which was published in April this year. In Raving, as in the track "we go", McKenzie Wark describes a thriving q***r rave scene. her words take you along, let you feel the music and the atmosphere of the rave, and close with the return home in the morning light of the new day. What (electronic) music and a q***r underground rave scene truly mean is well illustrated and the lyrics, even though there is no techno in this mix, do not lose their meaning and depth.

DJ Unisex is an interdisciplinary DJ, Producer, Radio-Host and Label-Chief based in Leipzig (Germany). In the past years he had gigs for example at: Terminal Club (Mexico City), About Blank (Berlin), Le Bourg (Lausanne), Operator (Rotterdam). In 2019 he started his residency on Callshop Radio called Intergalactic Rhythms. Since 2020 he is co-running the record label Self Learning System.

is one of the most crucial spaces in Berlin thriving underground music scene — the biggest self-governed rehearsal space in Europe! In June’s episode of THF Radio’s concert and panel series Resilient Sounds Anne from Orwohaus and Ayosha from THF Radio will discuss the situation of rehearsal spaces in a city struck by gentrification. How does Orwohaus manage 5.852 m² and over 700 artists using the building? What can we learn from them and how can we support resilient sounds and maintain a hard-wearing DIY music community? 🔨

THF Radio and Radio Plato (Minsk) are doing a joint show! Once every four weeks, on Sundays at 15:00 CET / 16:00 UTC+3, we will showcase musicians, DJs and selectors. Ping pong mode: one issue is by , the other is by .

In this episode we have notorious Papa Bo Selektah from Minsk. The first DJ in the world who was convicted under a criminal article for a DJ set, but managed to escape from the Belarusian totalitarian system and continued to lead a cultural and educational movement around the world.

For Sunday's live broadcast of the Radio Plato and THF Radio collaboration show, he prepares the most amazing selection – a smoothie of hallucinogenic ethno-electronica, bass that reverberates in guts, and hypno-punk that explodes into jumps around an apartment.  And on top of this nutritious audio drink, he will throw a couple of highlights for oldtimers and music freaks.
