DJing since the early 2000s, Chill began his journey mixing hip-hop for over a decade on the radio and in clubs. 2011 marked a turning point as he discovered electronic music in Europe's big clubs, leading to a new adventure in 2014. Co-founder of the collective Closely, Chill launched underground parties in Strasbourg for four years before becoming a resident at KALT in 2018. His sets are known for moving the dancefloor with hypnotic and powerful techno. Enjoy, friends!

For the purpose of this episode, he crafted a one-hour voyage showcasing his depth.

We're kicking off our podcast series for this year with episode 100 featuring a guest mix from Mic Meimaroglou - alias "Aithale" - who started with a passion for electronic music and analog synthesizers, leading to music production as his creative outlet. His journey from DJing in small bars to releasing music on labels like 808 Recordings and founding USM Recordings highlights his growing influence in the electronic music scene. In 2023, he co-founded ΣΥΝTHESIS to promote electronic music in Lesvos island through various cultural activities. For us, he prepared an hour long journey through his ambient and hypnotic techno patterns.

Closing out 2023 with a bang in the 99th episode of our podcast series with Red Rooms. Over the years, Red Rooms has carved out a niche in Berlin's electronic music scene with his hypnotic, minimalist sound. Earning acclaim from labels like Planet Rhythm and support from esteemed DJs such as Rødhåd and DVS1, he's established himself as an emerging talent with a global impact. With several impactful releases and more on the horizon, Red Rooms continues to be a compelling figure to watch. This set was recorded at TENSIØN in Chemnitz, earlier this month.

FACETS Collective coming to be...

End of 2016 / early 2017: FACETS is the name chosen to represent a group of ambitious artists in the music genre of Techno. Initially and with the focus being locked on establishing the name of the collective, as well as themselves as artists in the local scene at first, the team set up their party series and doing their first few events. After about a year it soon became more and more clear to them that establishing a scene like they've enjoyed in Munich wasn’t possible at the time, in Augsburg. So they decided to try changing the situation by putting more effort into expanding their network as well as the listener base of their podcast series and eventually into learning music production themselves.

Fast forward to today: FACETS got its first new members when it joined forces with 2 fellow artists from Munich and plans to return to organizing and promoting its own events, while the label "FACETS Recordings" will very soon become the platform for the release of their works.
