Sonic Unicorn

Meet the lineup of Field of Experiments on July 26🔬
unicorn is chasing trance and euphoric techno unicorns and rabbit holes since 2010.

What experiments he currently makes? Flirting with Electro swing or progressive/melodic house, and if I is able to blend it into one musical journey.

When he wakes up, his mind is always occupied with some track, playing in background, like if you wake up to a radio on. Automatic sorting machine, gut feeling... so he just listens and then marks it down for next gig. So, this time he promises an emotional rollercoaster made of melodic house, trance, euphoric techno, and some deep shades.

We meet at 17:00 in Pankrac Park. The entrance is free.

I love the goosebumps when 2 tracks just fit, by mixing in key. Struggled for long time, used MIK as well (btw. who needs hot cues and memory cues at the same place? IMHO pointless feature just wasting banks), but now I somehow relax and I'm just fine with analysis and error rate. I rather invest time practicing and prepare by ear.
While rekordbox is open to integrations by using XML ... it's 2024 gents, make it JSON 😉 and updates on one click 🙏

Dear friends,
for sure this project is not dead. Actually I am conducting steps to get back in the flow and keep giving joy by bit of progressive, bit of euphoric techno, some trance, vocals and deep house ... still the same, how you knew me years back.

The bigger the focus on P.R. , the less quality (if you do it all by yourself). I always sucked in promoting of what I do, keeping my aim unchanged - sharing my selections towards your ears, mixed in a melodic journey, a story, from a beginning to an end.

I always suffered from fears of coming among people and perform live, being uncertain about little things. Oh, how I admire guys just coming behind the decks, mixing with no hesitation, not caring about small impurities ... and the overall result is typically perfect.

They say an artist has to experience life challenges, so he can express them back through the work, art. I am not calling myself an artist - I only know my brain is playing music all day on background (some people find it strange 😄) and I would like to pass this harmony through my hands and share through mixes (Mixcloud, SoundCloud, check www.sonicunicorn.com )

No conclusions here, just that there will be a chance soon to hear me live in and I slowly extend time to finalize few new offline mixes.

Take care during the festive periods, don't rush, focus on yourself and your family - gifts are only means to give joy, but most important are the moments you share.

It doesn't matter whether you believe in afterlife, resurrection or that there is nothing after you die - I believe we all share the view of being happy in our lives, fulfilling small dreams once at a time.

Do you feel happy and healthy? Give it one minute and reconsider your choices - are the daily stressing situations worth it? Is this really it you always wanted? Go travel, learn new skills, be happy for tiny things, meet new people, pursue your dreams.

Do not fall into the trap of feeling too old.

Do not postpone your passions. You don't live your life for somebody else. Make yourself happy.

Do you want to live forever? I simply believe there is no afterlife, hence we have one shot to enjoy it from the beginning to the end. Remember, it is really never too late to make a change.

Carpe diem. Enjoy the mix ;)
