Exciting news, everyone! Tomorrow, our studio is heading to the Game Access conference in Brno, and we couldn't be more thrilled! 🎮

We attend this event every year, and it's always a highlight for us. The networking opportunities, the inspiring lectures, the new information we gain, and of course, the fun—we love it all! ✨

This year, however, is extra special for us. Our incredible head of marketing will be speaking at the conference! 🎤 We are so proud and can't wait to see her in action. It's a huge honor and a testament to all the hard work our team puts in.

What’s your position and what are you in charge of?
- QA Lead - I'm responsible for ensuring that the final game is released in the best possible state, without bugs and any potential issues.

What are your hobbies?
- I enjoy sports. Mostly weightlifting, but I also like outdoor activities. Occasionally, I play games on PC or console with my friends.

Why did you choose to work in gamedev?
- I've been playing games on PC, consoles, and phones since I was 6 years old. Working with games fulfills me, and I've dreamt of being involved in game development since childhood.

For how long have you worked in Noxgames?
- This year is my 4th year.

How did your career journey start?
- At Noxgames on the QA position.

What do you enjoy the most about the projects you work on?
- I enjoy collaborating with teams, and I'm delighted when several months/years of work result in a great game that players enjoy and provide positive feedback on.

What was the biggest challenge in your career?
- The challenge is always present when we release a new project and in QA, we strive to ensure that the game reaches players without major issues. The end product must be worth it.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to work in gamedev? How do you become a new member of Noxgames?
- Definitely continue to develop and advance in the field you enjoy and don’t be afraid to show your skills.

What are the 3 most important skills in your position?
- Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to break the game in every way possible.

What’s your position and what are you in charge of?
- I'm a programmer, and currently I'm responsible for maintaining a project that makes up a large part of our portfolio.

What are your hobbies?
- I'm a bit of an exception - I still enjoy playing games even though I make them. Besides that, I enjoy playing the electric guitar, and when I find the time once in a while, I also compose music.

Why did you choose to work in gamedev?
- I've dreamed of it since childhood.

For how long have you worked in Noxgames?
- I've been here for 6 years, this year will be the 7th. And I still love it here!

How did your career journey start?
- In my childhood, I enjoyed playing with Game Maker, then in high school, a classmate and I modded Half-Life 2 together.

What do you enjoy the most about the projects you work on?
- I enjoy having a significant influence on the final game. Plus, working in an indie studio is very diverse, so I definitely don't get bored.

What was the biggest challenge in your career?
- The toughest part is always deciding where to go for lunch.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to work in gamedev? How do you become a new member of Noxgames?
- It's great to complete a game. I’ve always struggled to finish my personal projects, so I recommend trying out a course or a game jam.

What are the 3 most important skills in your position?
- Logical thinking is a given, but even more important is to be able to communicate with colleagues and be willing to learn new things.

- I started as a web coder, but then decided to find something new, which was working in gamedev. I started here as a junior marketing specialist.

- Almost every day something new happens, new challenges arise, and one keeps learning new things.

What was the biggest challenge in your career?
- As the company grew, new opportunities opened for us, which we had to learn to implement. Also changes came when I was given the opportunity to create a team and thus expand our department.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to work in gamedev? How do you become a new member of Noxgames?
- Have motivation for self and company development, be independent and proactive.

What are the 3 most important skills in your position?
- Problem-solving, logical thinking, and the ability to read data.
