The Chilean melodic doom metal band Wooden Veins have their second album "Imploding Waves" slated for release on June 23rd by Ardua Music. Even compared to their impressive debut full-length, it provides a more elaborate, more dynamic, and ultimately more memorable experience. Today we're presenting a video for the album's fourth single "Ganymede", an absolutely spellbinding excursion that uses the massive Jupiterian moon as a metaphor for the ascent into a new life (the music itself sounds like an astral ascent, and the beautiful vocals are a well-earned exception to the porous rule in our site's name).
