The Mass Graven Image album, videos and text released on Owlripper last January have all been removed.

I am sure quite a lot of you know why, if you've followed MGI's socials for a while. The ultra-biased, unbalanced, frankly psychotic white supremacist, anti-semitic, racist outpourings (a lot have since been deleted, but no doubt screenshotted by quicker minds) were too much to handle, mentally damaging and enraging to see, and something I can't support.

There is a replacement text in the description on the album release page, further expanding on the reasons why. In the post are screenshots, taken from owlripperrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/x

"I was tempted to remove the (release) page entirely, but I feel that sweeps these problems under the carpet. It IS possible to show the bigots, racists, -phobes, the intolerant and remorseless; they will not win.

Wars and disgusting human prejudices will never end whilst people directly point fingers at specific groups, races, religions, individuals based on colour, nationality or background.

The level of hate and skewed propaganda was not something to support. What first seemed like simple, angry, almost justifiable backlash against some of the injustices in the world of war and inhumanity escalated into something more direct and obscene, specific and only towards non-white people, and the true nature of this came to light almost a year after this release.

You can't wish and hope and drive for peace, by pointing fingers at selected groups of people. It doesn't work, and all it does is perpetuate conflict.

This is a learning curve for me, for how to deal with those who have been released on the label. I feel pretty horrible about the whole situation, that I unknowingly raised the platform for MGI to start delivering these vile diatribes, so all I can do now is try and lower and remove that platform, still retaining a civilised approach."

This has messed me up a lot in the last couple of weeks.
Hopefully this saddening, horrifying episode can be thrown in the bin.

Playing two concerts this weekend in Futile Mourning, in Orlová and Brno, Cz.

Anyone in this part of the world who is into RIFFS (grind, crust, doom, black, fast and slow!) (and noise too), that can make it to either (or both!) of these would be well advised to! Trust me.

The Futra gig in Orlová is Civilian Thrower's ONLY CZECH SHOW on this tour. I am SO excited that they are coming to play our town!

Both venues are proper cool as well (you could say Sibiř is proper cold! These riffs will heat the place!).

"It tells the story of two lovers (gender not beknown, though it doesn't matter). Six songs, five with MIDI Sounds on Keyboard (recorders, bassoons, trombones, strings (especially viola, a favourite string instrument)). Last piece added later, as a goodbye to my beloved deceased Uncle, who passed to cancer in May this year (Miss you man!)".
