“Five sides of fantasy” is a CD presenting pianist Alexander Sonderegger’s point of view on the genre of musical fantasy in the context of different eras and styles. The term “fantasy” has the meaning of “improvisation” or “freedom”, which allowed the five composers included in the repertoire to express themselves through this genre, continually endowing the pieces with new significance.

The new disc by oboist Oleg Yakubovich, recorded in collaboration with the baroque chamber ensemble, is a genuine musical journey into the beautiful Baroque era, full of vivid impressions: the playlist includes a cycle of concertos for oboe, strings and basso continuo by the unforgettable Antonio Vivaldi. Fine musicians who skilfully combined a modern approach with the traditions of the old masters gave the dramaturgically interesting album a unique interpretation.
