Today we complete the closing workshop with the participation of proffesionals from all groups who have contact with survivors of domestic violence.
Participants were provided with a draft of the domestic violence legislation. We thank all participants for their valuable contributions.

of the UK field study completed. The participants started the day with an observation at the specialist Domestic Violence Court in Westminster. Then visited the IDVA's and safeguarding officials at the St Marys Hospital in Paddington and ended the day with a session with the Haven Paddington and learnt about the steps taken to support survivors and prosecution of perpetrators after sexual violence. A great day full of important information to take back home with us.

Day 2 of UK field study began with training at Standing Together, followed by a visit to Northumberland Park Community School where we learned about codes of practices and conduct in DV cases. We completed the day with a presentation from Tender an NGO that promotes healthy relationships in schools. Participants actually exhausted, but still happy.

Day one of our UK field study begins with training at standing together, followed by an observation of the Multi Agency Risk Assesment Conference and then a session with the Kensington Police's Community Safety Unit. Main lesson learnt: Together we are stronger. Participants tired but happy.

The four day field study in the UK with proffesionals in contact with survivors of domestic violence begins tomorrow. Participants representing police force, teachers, healthworkers, social service officers, lawyers and journalists currently on their way to London.
