We are extremely happy that "All That's Left of You" by Palestinian-American filmmaker Cherien Dabis will have its World Premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival!!

This epic yet intimate film chronicles the lives of three generations of a Palestinian family spanning almost 75 years of history.

Big congratulations and a huge thank you to the crew, cast and everyone who gave their most to get this film off the ground and make it happen, at a time when all odds were against us.

“Five Shilling Nylon” by Christos Siopahas

Cyprus, 1940s. A couple, outlaws and hunted, arrive at a secluded mill house. The man leaves the distraught woman in the hands of the miller and runs off. As the young woman is cared for by the miller, love and affection grows between them. Their tranquillity is violently disrupted when her husband and those who are after show up at the mill house.

We are very happy and proud that "Embryo Larva Butterfly" by Kyros Papavassiliou received two awards at the 22nd Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival !!

Best Cypriot Director Award "for its innovative direction in crafting a world where characters grapple with the fluidity of time, this film emerges as a unique voice in Cypriot cinema [inviting] audiences into a journey of self-discovery, pushing the boundaries of storytelling", as well as the Best Cypriot Film Award, which the International Jury praised "for its originality which offers a fresh perspective on the science fiction genre through a minimalist approach and deliberate pacing, this film stands out with its clever use of urban landscapes, as well as depiction of female experience in themes such as relationships and motherhood, marking a significant achievement in Cypriot cinema".

Our film EMBRYO LARVA BUTTERFFLY, written and directed by Kyros Papavassiliou, is coming to Athens on April 4th for a series of screenings by Weirdwave, exclusively at cinema ANDRORA!

Starting on Thursday 4th until Wednesday 10th of April with screenings everyday at 18:15 & 20:00.

On Thursday 4/4 and Friday 5/4, after the 20:00 pm screening a Q&A with the director will follow.
