Hey dancers! 🌟 There’s no "right" or "better" way to interpret a 5, 6, 7, 8! Each of us brings our own unique style to choreography and the dance floor. Whether it’s the way we extend our arms, contract, hit an accent, or feel the music... no two dancers are alike. That’s what makes our art form so special!

I’m not talking about technique or how body placement varies from jazz to hip hop. I’m also not talking about being on the count or in the pocket. Hopefully, our years of training ensure these elements are built-in (they might be rusty, but they’re there!).

This is your reminder to celebrate your individuality on the dance floor! You do your 5, 6, 7, 8 your way, and I'll do mine my way.
