Muddy Waters 1915-1983 MOST PREKO BLATNIH VODA

U svom domu u Chikagu, u šezdeset i osmoj godini, umro je Muddy Waters, neprevaziđeni majstor i kralj urbanog buesa, jedna od ličnosti koje su najviše zadužile rock'n'roll, neposredno omogućivši i podstaknuvši njegov nastanak i razvoj.
Napredak samog Chicago - bluesa, čiji je Waters bio glavni i najuticajniji predstavnik, dobro je poznat, kao i to razdoblje Muddyjeve karijere. Zato smo odlučili daovom prilikom više pažnje posvetimo delu Watersovog života pre dolaska u Chicago, i osvetlimo njegovu mladost, uobličavanje pod raznim muzičkim uticajima i početke ozbiljnijeg bavljenja bluesom.

At his home in Chicago, at the age of sixty-eight, Moody Waters died, the unsurpassed master and king of the urban bues, one of the personalities most indebted to rock'n'roll, directly enabling and encouraging its emergence and development.
The progress of Chicago itself - the blues, of which Waters was the main and most influential representative, is well known, as in the period of Muddy's career. That's why we decided to give Dao more attention to a part of Waters' life before coming to Chicago, and to shed light on his youth, shaping under various musical influences and the beginnings of a more serious pursuit of the blues.
