TVC celebrating the 75 years of Terazije Theater.
In collaboration with TVC celebrating the 75 years of Terazije Theater. Crater Studio and New Moment New Ideas Company Beograd, the magic of theater has come to life! An amazing VFX artist meticulously scanned and created a precise replica of the iconic Pozorište na Terazijama. Custom particle simulations were designed to showcase the formation of the theater's logo, seamlessly paired with animations that capture the essence of acting, music, and dance—hallmarks of Terazija's musical theater for the past 75 years.

Don’t Breathe 2 fans, we know what you’re thinking... it’s Crater’s Halloween post time! 👻🎃

We recently had seeing Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues project Alien: Romulus in courtesy of The Walt Disney Company and 20th Century Fox, and we loved it!

We had chilling pleasure of working with these thrilling duo on Don't Breathe 2. Did you know the bloody sequel was filmed right here in Belgrade during the summer and fall of 2020? Our team was there for on-set VFX supervision, and later, we delivered some of the movie's most "Gougy," "Splashy," and "Stabby" visual effects. 🩸🔪💥

Looking forward on getting spooked alongside the brilliant Uruguayan filmmakers again!

Collaborating with Cinesite on the visual effects for Moon Knight we brought to life intense action sequences with intricate CGI.

At Crater Studio, our anticipation is through the roof for this sci-fi horror, especially since it’s helmed by the talented Uruguayan filmmakers Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating on "Don't Breathe 2" back in 2020/21. The second Belgrade Houdini User Group took place in March at our Crater Training Center, bringing together a mix of experienced and emerging Houdini experts.

During the event, our talented artists, Pero Lakic and Dimitrije Babovic, provided an in-depth demonstration on the art of grooming characters in Houdini. They showcased their skills and shared valuable insights on utilizing the powerful Houdini hair&fur tools to simplify the often daunting task of creating furry characters.

Grooming can be a complex endeavor, but with the right tools, it becomes much more manageable. Thanks to the amazing folks at SideFX , Pero and Dimitrije were able to harness the full potential of Houdini and accomplish stunning results.

Bogdan Amidžić, naš FX TD i supervizor gostovaće 26. maja u Ljubljani na simpozijumu "FADE IN – kreativna postprodukcija v fokusu" u organizaciji DPPU - Društvo postprodukcijskih ustvarjalcev iz Slovenije. Na predavanju pod nazivom "Prošlost, sadašnjost i budućnost vizuelnih efekata za igrani film" Bogdan će se dotaći raznih tema počevši od napretka tehnologije i VFX industrije, govoriće o radu sa holivudskim, bolivudskim i domaćim produkcijama, kao i o temi outsourcing rada, i prolazeći kroz primere dobrih i loših praksi prepodukcije podeliće i savete kako uključiti VFX sektor na setu.

Big news for us and the cutest puppy Andy!
We are excited to announce that Andy "A Dog's Tale” has been officially selected for the Cannes Film Awards 2023. Andy made it through with over 2,836 submissions from 119 countries of the world. We will keep our fingers crossed for Andy.

Zanimljivi domaći film ,,Indigo Kristal” na kojem je radio Crater Studio biće premijerno prikazan u utorak 7. marta u MTS dvorani. Ovaj film debitantsko je ostvarenje reditelja Luke Mihailovića, a radnja se dešava u četiri dana i prati Vuka, tridesetogodišnjeg povratnika iz zatvora koji pokušava da vodi normalan život. Crater se uključio u ovaj projekat početkom godine svojim compositing umećem, efektima rana od vatrenog oružja, vatre i animacijom jelena.

Creating furry characters can sometimes be very daunting task. So, our artists Pero Lakić, Dimitrije Babović and are going to show you at Belgrade HUG, how we at Crater studio use powerful Houdini hair&fur tools to make these type of tasks as easy as possible!

Grooming is challenging by itself, but it doesn't have to be if you have right tools, and thanks to guys at SideFX, we do.

Gostovanje na SGA mitapu na temu Motion Captura u Nišu je proteklo sjajno! Bilo je zanimljivo videti kakva je primena Xsens sistema u drugim industrijama. A naš VFX supervizor i FX TD Bogdan Amidžić podelio je Craterovo iskustvo sa primenom ove tehnologije u filmskoj industriji.

Hvala Serbian Games Association na pozivu za učešće na događaju kao i Elektronski fakultet u Nišu na dobroj saradnji!
