Once more, for the Vienna-based company Europapier, we designed the box and catalog of their specialty papers. Because one of the most important papers in the new catalog is Kaffee Papier Recycelt, which contains coffee grounds, we kept in mind sustainability and the value of recycling throughout the process. Each box is different because the structure of these papers makes each one distinct.

Melö is a Belgrade-based roastery inspired by the vibrant Scandinavian coffee culture, and all of their coffees are exclusively single origin of top quality, lightly roasted, in the Nordic style. We named it Melö, because that word is synonymous with honey, addressing a loved one. We also made a visual identity and package design for them.

Visual identity for Bitni Špirs. Inspiration for the visual identity was pop star Britney Spears. This spot, serving high quality street food, was founded by a crew which has worked for years in Belgrade’s fine dining restaurants. Britni Špirs actually responds to our essential need for delicious bites on the move.

Synthesized memories

We always wanted to make a short film or video essay about our young friends, who were born in the late 1990s or early 2000s in Ex Yugoslavia, and their attitude towards nostalgia… or let’s be more precise – instant nostalgia.

Speaking of nostalgia we decided to shoot this short with Bolex h16 on 16mm film, which gave us that specific nostalgic look, which is at the same time dreamy and grungy, gentile and disturbing.

Brochure “The Magnificent Seven” of the Muzej Automobila Beograd / Auto Museum Belgrade, for which we made the design, illustrations and did text wrapping, includes seven automobiles from the collection of Bratislav Petković, made between 1908 and 1939. The illustrations for these models were made in the style of newspaper advertisements and posters used to present new car models in the first half of the 20th century.

JS&O has expanded its product range with salad oil. The motif of the family celebration was our inspiration for the design of this delicate oil, which is a mixture of cold-pressed sunflower oil and mechanically pressed pumpkin oil.
