This song has been with me for a while... David first brought it to me at the end of my time in NYC, and I immediately fell in love with it. Life, other projects, and our respective moves away to the West coast would get in the way of finishing it, and it would end up sitting around for the better part of a decade, until I found it sitting in a nondescript USB stick when I unpacked after moving back to Costa Rica. I immediately called David and we decided we needed to finish it. Working from half a continent away we both enlisted the help of trusted musicians, and we were able to finally finish this song.
Thanks to for trusting me to produce and mix this, for the gorgeous backing vocals, for putting up with my Glyn Johns obsession, for the great mastering work, and to all the other musicians that helped realize one of the songs that's been stuck in my mind and heart for a very long time. Hope those of you that get a moment to check it out get as much joy from listening to it as I did from making it with David.
