Nina's life is a tapestry woven from international threads. A Liberian American with a Turkish husband, she's raised two rambunctious boys in the picturesque town of Boquete, Panama, for over a decade. Coffee may fuel her mornings, but her true passion lies in connecting with people. From navigating the challenges of expat life to indulging in the freedom of creating a life on her own terms, Nina's story is one of adventure, resilience, and a whole lot of chocolate!

Simone is a Life Coach, Speaker, Author, and Founder of Dream Academy. She also hosts the renowned podcast “The Immigrant Experience in America,” where she amplifies and humanizes the experiences of immigrants living in the United States.
Simone, an immigrant herself and a former U.S. Diplomat, noticed a significant gap surrounding immigrants' positive contributions to American life. She studied migration in her undergraduate and master's programs and has worked intimately with the issue for close to 20 years. She identified the need for a roadmap to help immigrants decide unspoken rules, learn cultural language, and thrive in their adopted countries.
Besides her professional work, Simone loves nature, staying active, and exploring different domestic and international cultures. She currently lives in the southeastern United States with her family.
