🚗🌍 A New Milestone for New Energy Vehicles

This morning, a pink Voyah Courage (岚图知音) gracefully rolled off the line at Dongfeng Voyah’s Yunfeng factory, marking a momentous achievement as China becomes the world’s first country to produce over 10 million new energy vehicles (NEVs) in a single year! 🎉

Data highlights the rapid rise in China’s NEV industry: In 2013, annual production stood at just 18,000 units. By 2018, it surged to over 1 million, and in 2022, it surpassed 5 million. Now, with over a month left in 2024, China has set a new record—an impressive 4.3% increase over last year's 9.587 million units. Experts predict NEV production could exceed 12 million by year’s end! 🌱⚡

China's homegrown C919 , developed by the Commercial Corporation of China (COMAC), completed a flight from Beijing to Wuhan on Wednesday, marking the aircraft's first commercial flight in Wuhan.

The service, operated by Air China, is scheduled to run every day, with a duration of around two hours. The inbound flight will depart from Beijing at 6:00 p.m. and arrive in Wuhan at 8:15 p.m. The outbound flight will take off from Wuhan at 9:30 p.m. and land in Beijing at 11:35 p.m.

To date, COMAC has delivered twelve C919 aircraft to three leading Chinese , including China Eastern Airlines, Air China and China Southern Airlines. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）

🔗 Connecting Hubei’s thriving economy, this engineering marvel is not just a bridge—currently under construction, the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge will feature the world's largest span for a four-main-cable suspension bridge. With a main span of 1,860 meters, it will also be the largest double-deck suspension bridge ever built! 🌟
🌐 The bridge’s groundbreaking design includes the world-first use of the "differential vertical four main cables" layout. Each of the four outer main cables stretches 2,909 meters long, housing 27,559 steel wires. Together, these wires cover an astonishing 320 million kilometers—enough to circle the Earth approximately 8 times! 🌏

🌊 Shierli Village Bids Farewell to the Big Earthen Jars ! 🌊
For decades, the villagers of Shierli in Nanpi, Cangzhou faced the harsh reality of scarce and brackish water. Water stored in big earthen jars was essential, yet even after being clarified, it was still bitter and hard on the teeth.
In 2021, everything changed with the South-to-North Water Diversion Project! For the first time, over 280 households now have clean, sweet water 24/7 from the Han River thousands of kilometers away. The once-essential jars have finally retired, and the threat of dental fluorosis is no longer a worry for villagers. 🚰💧
From June 2017 to the end of 2023, the water diversion project has supplied a total of 2.148 billion cubic meters of water to Cangzhou, benefiting more than 7 million people. A heartfelt milestone for Shierli and other villages alike!
