Corporate-tailored Award - # Officially Announced!
This award aims to encourage young designers and students to join the discussion on urban renewal in scenic spots. They will explore concepts for architecture in blocks with nature and culture in juxtaposition. The Moganshan Administration (Cultural and Tourism Group) established the award of individuals for the Moganshan Core Scenic Area Planning and Yinshan Street Conceptual Design International Competition, allowing more individuals to participate in shaping the future vision of the scenic area. This empowers greater possibilities and avoids a monotonous homogeneity, reflecting care, respect, and inclusivity towards different target visitors groups. With this competition as a medium, it is a proactive exploration in enriching scenarios through a product-oriented approach.

👏 The total bonus for individuals is RMB 230,000 (tax included)
Gold Award (1 winner): RMB 100,000 (tax included)
Silver Award (1 winner): RMB 80,000 (tax included)
Bronze Award (1 winner): RMB 50,000 (tax included)

🙋 Participants:

【 | 2023 Moganshan Core Scenic Area Planning and Yinshan Street Conceptual Design International Competition Global Release】

🌟Moganshan is one of China's top four summer retreats. It is also referred to as the "World Modern Architecture Museum". In the future, Moganshan aims to become an internationally renowned tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta region.

🌟In regard to the 3-square-kilometer scope of Moganshan's mountaintop core scenic area, a business format planning is proposed, along with operational suggestions (additional), and enhancements to the spatial appearance and innovative architectural style of the 400-meter Yinshan Street.

🌟The jury committee of this competition was established by Libin Chen, a partner of David Chipperfield Architects, Xianghong Chen, Vice President of China Tourism Association, Liu hungchih, Senior Vice President of AECOM, Wenyu Lu, an architect and co-founder of amateur architecture studio, and Tao Zhou, director and general manager of jll hotels&hospitality group in greater China.

🌟The total bonus for this competition is 1,230,000 RMB, which is divided into two parts, i.e. 1,000,000 RMB for agencies and 230,000 RMB for individuals.

🌟This competition is open to the world. The deadline for institutional group registration is 17:00 on September 27, 2023 (Beijing time), and the deadline for individual group registration and submission is December 4, 2023 (Beijing time). Institutions/individuals from around the world are welcome to register and participate in this competition.
