As the Spring Festival approaches, the New Year atmosphere in is becoming increasingly strong. Recently, the intangible cultural heritage folk performances held at Longfor Yushan Paradise Walk in Nanjing have left a deep impression on Putri Arerien, an Indonesian student from Nanjing Agricultural University. The breathtaking audio - visual feasts such as the loong dance and fire stick performance made her exclaim, "The Chinese way of welcoming the New Year is so cool!"

The lanterns are dazzling and colorful. On the eve of the Spring Festival, Mohammad, an international student of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) from Iran, went into the Qinhuai Lantern Festival to experience the charm of the Qinhuai Lanterns. This is his second time to celebrate Chinese New Year in China, and he likes the lively and festive atmosphere of Chinese New Year very much.

As the Spring Festival approaches, the flower markets in are bustling with activity. Aya Amhana, a Moroccan student, and Luis Mora, an Ecuadorian student, both from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, encountered "New Year's Festival Flowers" full of Chinese New Year characteristics at Hanzhongmen Flower Market. A wide variety of auspicious flowers such as Phalaenopsis, kumquats, and holly are vying for beauty, allowing the two international students to experience the strong Chinese New Year flavor.
