LAMITA STORIES
       The story.

Lamita, little lama in Spanish, teleports me to a Latin America journey back in 2016.

The moment I set foot in Peru, this nickname followed me throughout my trip. Louise and Lamita became one and the same person.

It represents my female growth, set into motion thanks to my adventurous solo travel spirit. It is a soft sigh to my vibrant time abroad, with souvenirs for every individual i met and the stories that originated from them — especially the ones in Colombia.

It equals colours, intensity, love and creativity.
It equals home, internally and externally.
It is happiness, connection and culture.
It is my past, present and future.  

The little lama carries all of that for me.

Through the carefully selected pieces of Lamita Stories, I share every emotion that, although dormant at first, rose from each culture I resonated with.

Het verhaal.

Lamita, kleine lama in het Spaans, het brengt me terug naar een van mijn reizen in Latijns-Amerika.
Vanaf het moment dat ik voet zette in Peru, bleef deze bijnaam me de hele reis achtervolgen. Louise en Lamita werden één en dezelfde persoon.

Het vertegenwoordigt mijn vrouwelijke groei, in gang gezet dankzij mijn avontuurlijke solo-reisgeest.
Een zachte zucht naar mijn levendige tijd in het buitenland, met souvenirs voor elk individu dat ik ontmoette en de verhalen die daaruit voortkwamen - vooral die in Colombia.

Het staat voor kleur, intensiteit, liefde en creativiteit.
Het staat voor thuiskomen, intern en extern.
Voor geluk, verbinding en cultuur.
Het staat voor mijn verleden, heden en toekomst.

De kleine lama draagt ​​dat allemaal voor mij.

Via de zorgvuldig geselecteerde stukken van Lamita Stories, deel ik elke emotie die, hoewel aanvankelijk sluimerend, opkwam uit elke cultuur waarmee ik resoneerde.

Lamita Stories provides a journey to the ultimate and personalized item for your interior.

From hand-knotted carpets to custom-made poufs and cushions.
All our items are handmade from 100% wool, created in the traditional way, by the women of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

In consultation with Lamita stories, we prepare your application in a short meeting where we discuss important pillars about your expectations.

Then we make a selection of a number of possible designs for you and continue from there, once the desired design and size has been obtained, it will be sent to Morocco to get started.

Because these projects require time and work, you can count on a time span of 6 to 10 weeks between the introductory meeting until the complete product is delivered.
