Drum Rider

Drum Rider Electronic Music label based in Beijing, founded by China's electronic music pioneer Ni Bing. Family Drum Rider believes that genre doesn’t define an artist.

DrumRider was established as an independent record label by one of the founding fathers of China’s electronic music – Ni Bing, in January 2016. His early collaboration with Hong Kong techno label Technasia gave him opportunity to book the world’s best techno artists, including: Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Christian Smith, just to name a few. He’s currently DJing all over the world and running hi

s own management and booking agency “Martial Artists Management” which closed the deal for London producer Howie B’s Chinese adventure with Li Yu and Xu Zheng’s film scores. Indeed, “Martial Artist Management” managed the live performances of many bands and DJs, in all the major clubs around China. Furthermore, Ni Bing’s 123 Festival concept has been extremely influential in the past 3 years in underground club spaces in Beijing,Shanghai,Chengdu and Taipei. An idea originated from the image of a biker wandering around the Drum Tower area in Beijing, symbolizing those young producers who are not only making music in the studio all day long, but fancy healthy ride bikes, chilling around and enjoying the Gulou area. Nonetheless, DrumRider wants to be a starting point for China’s upcoming electronic musicians. Starting with a roster that includes the best upcoming artist from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Europe, the aim of the label is to showcase talented musicians from all over the world, healthy lifestyle and cool music. Innovation, skill, positivity. These are the attributes we’re looking for.
