Sometimes every word is superfluous. These pictures says more than a thousand words. 1. The view over the overdeveloped metropole of Mexico City (with more than 20 million inhabitants). 2. An elephant killed by poachers left to rot. … 3. The rainforest in flames – goats used to graze here. 4. Trails...

Pneumoconiosis is not only a disgrace for China and many developing countries. It is a universal challenge for the human race. Let us not forget, the human race has taken a great leap forward since the industrial revolution. Let us also remember, the eradication of pneumoconiosis is what we are all indebted to work towards collectively since then. We owe it not only to the coal miners, but also to our predecessors, descendants and our very own human conscience.

A ninth Queensland coal miner has been diagnosed with black lung disease, a day after the eighth case was confirmed. The 62-year-old underground coal miner works in the Bowen Basin in central Queensland.

"After the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act of 1969 became law in the United States, the percentage of American miners suffering from black lung disease decreased by about 90 percent." China also needs a legal framework and its enforcement that protect coal miners.

A powerful speech in Mandarin with English subtitle from our founder, Mr Wang Ke Qin. Pneumoconiosis should not exist in the world's 2rd largest economy, its patients (mainly miners and estimated to be numbered 60million or approximately the total population of France) all contributed to building a China to where it is now, don't we owe something to them?!

A small glimpse into pneumoconiosis, its effects on people and society, we recommend you to watch the latest film of director Jia Zhangke- Mountains May (Au-delà des montagnes). What is less known is that Mr Jia is also the vice-Chairman of LSP's Supervisory Board.

“Of the small number we've tested, 40% have pneumoconiosis”,according Union President Mr Wood. We/Love Save Pneumoconiosis are trying to help to prevent what happened in the UK in the past to take place again in today's China. We believe in better late than never.

Thousands of ex-miners could be unaware they have a deadly lung disease because they were not given adequate scans, a union says.
