THE CONGRES SYSTEM
We can define the congres system as series of meetings held in europe by the quadruple alliance that is Britain, Russia, Prussia, Austria , and later france . The congress was from the year 1818-1822 , the congress held within the frame work of the congres system was ; the congress of AIX LA CHAPELLE (1818) , TROPAU(1820) , LAIBACH(1821) and the congress of VERONA(1822) . THE CONGRES SYSTEM had as main objective to maintain peace and unity in europe and to insure balance of power . When france joined the quadruple alliance in the congres of aix la chapelle that was held in europe the members now became known as the quintruple alliance
