Prince Afoa-Akom calls on the NW Fons to stand up as auxiliary of the administration and speak against the crisis.
The Anglophone's crisis that has ruined the Anglophone part of Cameroon is in its seventh year and the prince, an honoured son of Cameroon says it's high-time for all the Fons to rise up and press the government for a solution.
As auxiliaries of the state , raised to this rank some 3 decades ago, the Fons shouldn't in their collective union continue to maintain their silence.
"It's high time for the Fons to rise up as a union and as one "
Russia gripped with fear and insecurity as Wagner's group turns against Putin.
The leader of the Wagner mercenary group Yevgeny Progozhin has accused the Russian army of attacking a warehouse of his group causing immense destruction and killing several elements of his men. He made this public on Friday evening. On the Russian part, the minister of defense, Sengei Shoigu has refused those allegations, qualifying them as “false and provocative”.
Some few days ago, the Russian intelligence agency, FSB opened an investigation against the Wagner group of a purported armed uprising.
It should be noted that the relationship between the Russian army and Progozhin’s Wagner group has extremely deteriorated, two millitary groups that have collaboratively fought against Zelensky’s Ukraine.

FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT LEAVES SEVERAL VICTIMS AT MBALMAYO-SANGMELIMA HIGHWAY.
A tragic lateral crash on the Sangmelima- Mbalmayo highway leaves so many deaths and dozens injured with serious burns.
According to some eye-witnesses, the accident occurred around Metet at around 4.45 pm, Cameroon time when an accelerating Prado from Yaoundé laterally crashed with a Coaster, a passenger vehicle owned by Galaxy Express heading in the same direction. The sudden chaos subsequently provoked a serious blast as both vehicles crossed the lane jangling again on a Carina in the opposite direction. The Carina is said to be a clandestine taxi loaded with passengers and heading towards Yaoundé.
The blasting and tumbling in this chaos caused nothing but a roaring and ravaging flame. Passengers trapped in an up-side-down coaster were heard screaming for help.
Men and women in the locality hurried to the incident to feed their own eyes, with most shouting and crying helplessly as they had neither water, nor fire extinguishers to extinguish the flames, nor the appropriate engines to raise-up the coaster with screaming passengers.
The security forces for Nyong and So’o who were alerted hurried to the incident for rescue. They engaged in identifying victims and dispatching injured persons to nearby hospitals. The stock of the misfortune was not reported by the time of writing. The death of the coaster's driver has been confirmed by his brother in a facebook post.
Ghastly Road accidents are common on Cameroon roads and thousands are losing their lives yearly as a result. Road accidents in Cameroon are attributed either to the poor state of the vehicle, bad roads or more commonly unlicensed drivers.
The ministry of transport in collaboration with the forces of law and order need to intensify their awareness campaign on road safety making sure both cars and their drivers are fit for the road before every departure.
