WIZKID ANNOUNCES OWN SHOW TO COMPENSATE FOR NO-SHOW!

Wizkid was billed to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 10 December but due to reasons best known to him how didn't show up. People had to leave at 04:03 am after 12 hours of waiting for Wizkid.
In a Twitter post, he confirmed he would be performing at the concert but ended up disappointing his Ghanaian fans after he failed to show up at the concert as promised.
Wizkid’s absence at the event has continued to elicit a wave of criticism on Twitter, with some users demanding his arrest.
Later on the 11th, in a statement via his verified Twitter the singer wrote,
“Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologize to all my fans! Y’all know I would never do anything, without serious reasoning behind it. My brand is something I don’t joke with! I sincerely apologize, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night.
I was charged up, looking forward to doing this show. However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans, and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right thing to do and I had to. Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on a high-quality show that my fans deserve. My Team and I are working on delivering a show to my amazing fans in Ghana. It will be just us, me, and you. Date and details soon. Love you.” He apologized.

Some Ghanaians have reacted to the apology on Twitter, saying it is not sufficient for the ‘damage’ caused.

We feel bad for his Ghanaian fans who placed a lot of trust in him by leaving from far and near and waiting for hours just to be disappointed in the end. We suggest Wizkid drops the cost of the tickets for the next show. But remember, Wizkid doesn't like selling himself cheap. So, by which other means could he compensate for the broken trust?

Could Wizkid's next show record a massive absence on the side of his fans if he doesn't compensate as many of them demand he should?

10 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT SALATIEL

Salatiel Livenja Bessong was born December 26, 1987 and is in Tiko and he is from Manyu, Cameroon

He is the CEO of located in Buea, Cameroon.

He started a band, called “Salas Band”, where he was a singer and drummer, although his biggest passion was songwriting. While in Yaoundé, he mainly conducted church choirs, wrote songs for choirs, and performed them himself. He then began to learn to play the guitar.

His love for music made him abandon his medical studies and he decided to pursue a simple degree in zoology. In 2007 he moved to the University of Buea and started working with a university choir “Breakthrough Voices” as music director and songwriter.

He first visited a studio in 2008 with the college choir to record a gospel album called 'Lord I'm Sorry' at M1 Studios. This visit to the studio sparked his desire to become a producer, and he did most of the keyboards on the album.

He then became an apprentice producer under Emile Ngumbah of M1 Studios. He made his first beat just a week later, a beat for Princess Lyna's “La Nouvelle Lecon” in March 2008

His career took off in 2014, the year Alpha Better records were founded; producing about 60 percent of Cameroon's Hit songs between 2014 and the present with hit songs from artists like Mr. Leo, Daphne, Askia, and Blaise B.

His single "Fab Kolo" was nominated for the MTN Cameroon Make the contest competition and he won "the MTN Cameroon Make the contest competition.

He emerged as the best producer of the Urban Jamz Awards 2018 edition and had six nominations for Best Music video performance, Best music producer, Best Afrobeat/pop song, Best Collabo, Best Male Artist, and Artist of The Year Urban Jamz Awards 2019 edition.

In July 2019, he announced the release of his first international album titled Africa represented will be launched on most streaming platforms, he has been nominated at the AFRIMMA awards 2019.

THE RISE AND FALL IN THE HISTORY BETWEEN PASCAL YOUNG-KING AND JOVI LE MONSTRE.

Ndimofor Wonishi Pascal was born on 13th April 1992 and goes by the stage name Pascal. Pascal YK has been in love with music since the age of 10. He started performing under the alias Stryke P., and after a few of his songs circulated, he was applauded for his flow. At the start of 2015, Pascal was under the Newbell Music umbrella where renowned Cameroonian Rap Artist and Producer Jovi Le Monstre mentored him.
Throughout his time at Newbell Music, Pascal released two EPs; Work Dey Vol 1 in 2015 with features from Jovi, Reniss and Tilla. Volume II The Prelude followed in April 2016 with features from Jovi & Rostou. He later released an Album in September 2016 titled Work Dey 3, with features from Lor, Jovi, Reniss, Tris from Gabon, Kana’a from togo and Fredy Massamba from Congo Brazzaville.
He also featured in the subsequent projects: ’s compilation EP (Lord have mercy), Jovi’s second EP Kankwe Volume II (Check Sense), Jovi’s 4th EP P**a Madre (How Many So Many), Jovi’s 5th E Bad Music, (Best Of Me); Jovi’s second album Mboko God (Beat tape session), Jovi’s third album 16Wives (Workmanship). Reniss second EP Milkish (Mango). Shey’s EP Tapsi (Ice cream).
After leaving New Bell Music and getting a record deal with Strange Kings record label (which he later on left), the “Check Sense” crooner has been getting a fair share of criticism and backlash from his fans and the population at large. After the release of “Paapi”, his only song under Strange Kings, Pascal was on a muted stance for over a year. But obviously, he was planning his great comeback as he blessed the world with the EP titled “ ” which is definitely an amazing art piece of 7 songs. It features talented names of the music industry like Mihney and Chick Nick.
Jovi rose on social media following Pascal’s performance at Koko Lounge in Yaoundé where he attributed his success in his music career to Jovi. Jovi was apparently angered by that and told Pascal who according to him, has been very impolite to him, to keep his name out of his mouth.
One thing led to another and Pascal eventually announced in a live video on Facebook that he was quitting music due to their inability to coexist.
Some fans even went on to plead with to forgive Pascal as that was apparently the only thing that could bring Pascal back. All the while, Jovi maintained that he has been disrespected by Pascal on numerous occasions; privately and publicly, and the only way he can pardon him is if he clearly outlines every single offense he has been apologizing for. Pascal has obviously not done that yet.

We have browsed through the years and could barely get a trace of pascal’s recent work. Till date, Pascal has been on the low while Jovi is gradually surfing with RENISS by his side and they both will probably be making a killing soon as Jovi posted a video of her in a home studio hyping a new banger which was playing in the background.
Is there any possibility of Pascal YK bouncing back from sleep and claiming his long-occupied spot in the 237-music industry?

WHY WAN SHEY IS WINNING FANS OF LYRICAL RAP MUSIC AND LOVERS OF POETRY

Wan Shey tells tales of trials and triumphs in surviving as a human and coming up as an artist in the hot heart of Africa. He released a track titled 'MENDEM' in which he dropped unstable bars on bars as he boldly uncovers the underground transactions that occur every day in Cameroon under the nose of the public.

MAGASCO HAS PROVEN THE GRASS ONLY GETS GREENER WHEN YOU WATER IT.

Recent stats reveal that Spotify pays 0.00437$ per stream. Magasco hits 1,000,000 streams on Spotify yearly. Since 2015 he has been signed to the Label owned by the legendary Pit Baccardi and has been doing just fine after the deal. Now just imagine the alerts entering his Bank account just from yearly Spotify streams. If we convert $4370 to CFA franc we will have $4370 by 624.10 which is 2,727,303.45 Central African CFA franc.
We now see how efforts invested in the right place with the right strategy and the right people pay off.
Now this might not be the highest of figures but this is a reminder there shouldn't be any such thing as 'music for my cupboard'
We hope fast-rising Cameroonian musicians especially from the English-speaking regions should take this as motivation from their elder Bro Magasco alias

We all know how tough it is being a musician in Cameroon especially when you are a descendant of the English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
Nivo BlackJesus is a musician/Producer who has organically created his niche in Bonaberi-Douala and has been appearing amongst the most mentioned names of underrated fast-rising Cameroon musicians.
Nivo Ti got unfortunate lately as he lost his mom (may her soul rest in peace) and days ago he posted footage of the burial and it must have been hard on him. What is mesmerizing in this whole situation is, he posted hours ago saying he will be releasing a new song today titled ' '
Hasn't Nivo Ti had a lot on his plate already and needs to chill a little so he can recover from the painful mourning?
Seriously! this is above just liking music. It shows the compassion and love he has for music and we believe he is doing this now wholeheartedly if he hadn't given it his all before.

Reniss always made it clear that her record label is home and that’s where she and her music feel most comfortable. She has been that loyal artist to New Bell music even when things were falling apart and other artists like; Pascal, Tillo, Shey, and Kiloh who is no more today(R.I.P Brother).

The EPs name is borrowed from the first word of the theme of the Ruby Jubilee of the Diocese of Kumbo which says:

the “TOGETHER" Ep is out to animate, reflect upon, express thanksgiving, and pray with and for the kumbo diocese which was created in 1982.

The 6-track project features genres like Njang and Afrobeats with some Amapiano sizzle.

During its conception, Nsay ki la was generous to consider everybody so no one feels left out. There are songs to pray with, and some to make you burst your dancing gear out and shake your goody bag.

Songs like CELEBRATE and MKWEE would get you on your feet because their afrobeat and amapiano rhythms are so infectious.

His song “Status Update” reveals to us that he was raised in a little village situated on the outskirts of called Tatum. Growing up in such a great place full of customs and beliefs surely birth Shey's unique perspective on life. This could be seen in the way he approaches every song lyrically.
