It’s a blessing that we made it to another 25th December in this year 2024, We are privileged to have seen this day and of course celebrate with our families and love ones.

I use this opportunity to encourage you all to reflect on how your 2024 has been, what you would have done better and the areas you need to improve upon next year.

As you celebrate today, encourage you all to celebrate with the understanding of the essence of this season which is for love, reconciliation, and forgiveness.

*COMMUNITY SPIRIT SHINES BRIGHT IN NKWEN LOCALITY CLEAN-UP*

Yesterday, the Nkwen locality witnessed a remarkable display of community spirit as local organizations and volunteers came together for a clean-up exercise. The event, aimed at keeping the locality clean during the festive season, was a resounding success.

The Local Youth Corner, Xhuma Africa, Conscript Volunteers, and Mister Humanitarian Ambassador Cameroon joined forces to mobilize volunteers and resources for the clean-up. The collaborative effort was evident in the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants.

Armed with brooms, shovels, and trash bags, the volunteers set out to tackle the litter and debris that had accumulated in the locality. From sweeping streets to collecting trash, every task was undertaken with a sense of purpose and camaraderie.

The clean-up exercise not only improved the physical environment but also fostered a sense of community pride and ownership. Residents and business owners alike expressed their appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

The organizers and volunteers deserve commendation for their hard work and commitment to the cause. Their efforts serve as a shining example of the impact that collective action can have on community development.

As the festive season approaches, the Nkwen locality is now better equipped to welcome visitors and residents alike, thanks to the tireless efforts of these dedicated individuals and organizations. As we aim to build conducive communities to sustain us all

On the 21st of November 2024 Queen Marie visited Standard Educational Complex bilingual nursery and primary school (SECOBIS) To interact with 300 students from primary 1 to 6 The objectives was to raise awareness about basic needs and poverty eradication, inspiring young minds to make a positive impact. Activities: 1. I delivered an engaging presentation on basic needs (foods, shelter, clothing, education, and healthcare) and how poverty affects individuals and communities. 2. Interactive sessions: students participated in a lively discussions, sharing their thoughts on poverty and how they can contribute to eradication efforts. 3. ⁠Distribution of materials: I donated English textbooks ,📚 workbooks, A cartoon of chalks,exercise books , pens and rulers to support the students education. Key messages: 1. Education is the key to breaking the poverty cycle. 2. ⁠small actions can make a significant difference. 3. ⁠Empathy and understanding are essential in addressing poverty. 4. ⁠Basic needs are fundamental human rights. The teachers appreciated the interactive approach and praised the students engagement. They expressed gratitude for the donated materials, which will support their educatioal endeavors . To conclude: The visit was a resounding success, inspiring young minds to become active contributor to poverty eradication. I look forward to future collaborations with SECOBIS to foster positive change.

The devastating landslide that struck your community has left me shaken and deeply saddened. On the 3rd of November 2024 At Abangoh orphanage, Mefor Mbwameh Marie Ciara and her team carried out a visit with the theme(Poverty Eradication) To observe and understand the living conditions, needs and experiences of children at the orphanage. In order words, the purpose of this visit was to gain insight into the lives of these remarkable children and identify potentials areas of support. What i observed was that children desmostrated resilience, hope, and enthusiasm despite facing hardships. However, the smiles, hugs and stories of resilience have left an indelible mark on my heart. Witnessing the challenges these incredible children faced daily broke my heart, but their hope , laughter, and determination mended it. I saw myself in their eyes, the longing for love, acceptance , and a chance to thrive. My visit to abangoh orphanage highlighted the importance of support and care for vulnerable children. I pledge to amplify their voices and contribute to improving their lives.
