Sammelband zu Schweizer Chormusik mit Aufsätzen von Dominik Sackmann, Stephan Klarer und Lukas Näf 🌟 Bern Open Publishing hat Ende 2024 den Sammelband "Schweizer Chorleben seit 1800: Musik, Praxis und Kontexte." herausgegeben. Es enthält Beiträge in deutscher oder englischer Sprache, unter anderem von drei Mitarbeitern des Institute for Music Research der ZHdK. Das Buch als Ganzes sowie die einzelnen Aufsätze können als PDF heruntergeladen werden.

Elina Ronja Bächlin zu Gast in der "Jazz-Collection" auf Radio SRF Kultur 🌟
Die Jubiläumssendung "Jazz-Collection" auf Radio SRF 2 Kultur thematisiert Shirley Horn in den frühen 1990ern. Zur legendären Jazzpianistin und Sängerin, bekannt für ihre ultra langsamen Interpretationen und ungewöhnlichen Phrasierungen, äussert sich Elina Bächlin. Die junge Sängerin und Pianistin hat soeben den Master Music Pedagogy Jazz an der ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste abgeschlossen.

In unserer Jazz Collection-Jubiläumswoche haben wir lauter Studierende zu Gast, Musikerinnen und Musiker aus der Gen Z, die über Jazzgrössen reden, auf deren Schultern sie stehen.

👉 Hannah Howard Andresen is studying conducting in the Master Performance program at the renowned “Conductors Studio ZHdK” with Christoph-Mathias Mueller . As part of the “Young Artistic Elite” program, she has received a scholarship from the Danish Arts Foundation.
👉 As part of this program, a small number of outstanding young artists are selected each year to promote their development on a national and international artistic and professional level.

Mirjam Skal sorgt laufend für Erfolgsmeldungen. Soeben wurde ihr für ihre Komposition zum SRF Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen -«Tatort – Von Affen und Menschen» der
Rolf-Hans Müller Preis für Filmmusik 2024 verliehen.
👉 Die Jury lobte die Filmmusik der Alumna Komposition für Film, Theater und Media der ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste für ihre hohe Musikalität und kreative Tiefe.

Mirjam Skal ist am Freitag, 29. November 2024, für ihre Komposition zum SRF-«Tatort – Von Affen und Menschen» mit dem Rolf-Hans Müller Preis für Filmmusik 2024 ausgezeichnet worden. Die Preisverleihung fand im Rahmen des Televisionale Film- und Serienfestival Baden-Baden statt.
