Bringing innovation down to a stunning science, the Freak X debuted in 2019 as the gateway to Ulysse Nardin’s no-hands, no-dial revolution. Inside its bold 43mm grey titanium case, the UN 230 movement spins with the audacious flair of a flying carousel. But here, all eyes are on the dial: a hypnotic blue wave-pattern guilloché, inspired by the deep blues of the Arabian Gulf. Each layer of #enamel is meticulously kiln-fired at 800°C, giving a new heartbeat to time itself.

Here we are back at Mavericks of Time in #🇦🇪 with Robert Bailey taking a deep dive into @laurent_ferrier latest Classic Moon annual calendar moonphase. This watch flaunts day and month windows at the top of the dial, while a luminous moonphase display at 6 o’clock captures both northern and southern hemispheres in a dual readout. Nestled within the moonphase is a hand gracefully sweeping over a slightly enlarged subsidiary seconds subdial. Around the edge of the case, a date indicator track encircles the dial, with a central pointer gliding along its path. How beautiful it is?
