We offer the best possible environment for your production. Situated next to a pictures lake, we still only 20 minutes from Zurich international airport and 15 minutes from the city. For us it’s important that you feel comfortable to explore your creative potential. High quality analog equipment combined with the speed of digital workflow is all at your fingertips. Powerplay is a full service reco

rding facility with 5 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, shower facilities and 6 recording studios. Our clients include Europe, Gianna Nannini, Keith Jarrett, Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Wu-Tang Clan, Yello and many more. Room for productivity:

Nowhere else in Switzerland will you find such a wide range of vintage/modern instruments and analog equipment. Over 30 vintage guitars, many amps, keys and a noteworthy collection of microphones are at your disposal. Let this vibe become part of your production. If your session takes a little longer, take advantage of our in-house bedrooms. Our ready-for-use kitchen and large living room offers a lot of space for creative breaks. A quick walk along the lake might give you that illusive inspirational spark!

SUISA congratulates the songwriters of “The Code”, Nemo, Benji Alasu, Linda Dale and Lasse Nymann, on their victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024!

We are proud to have contributed to this success with the SUISA Songwriting Camp, which was held in collaboration with co-organiser Pele Loriano at PowerPlay Studios.

Per sofort oder nach Absprache suchen wir eine Assistentin für 2 Jahre als Ergänzung für unser Team in den Powerplay Studios. Richtig gelesen, wir suchen mit Priorität eine Frau, weil es uns freuen würde, wenn unsere eher männlich dominierte Branche – gerade im technischen Bereich – zukünftig mehr Frauen Power zu bieten hätte. Natürlich schliessen wir Bewerbungen von männlichen Bewerbern nicht grundsätzlich aus, aber wir sind überzeugt, dass es da draussen jede Menge coole Frauen gibt, die das Zeug dazu haben & das möchten wir gerne fördern!

Du bist musikinteressiert? Spielst idealerweise selbst ein Instrument, singst oder programmierst Sounds? Du bist technisch interessiert und liebst die analog Technik, hast Vorkenntnisse mit DAW`s wie ProTools, Logic oder Cubase und möchtest berufsbegleitend eine Tontechnikerschule besuchen?

Du kannst anpacken und bist bereit im Studioalltag mitzuhelfen? Sessions auf- und abbauen, in der Session assistieren, mithelfen bei der Organisation von Team-Events, aber auch einkaufen und kochen zählen zu den Aufgaben. Ein ziemlich buntes Tätigkeitsfeld, das dir aber eine sehr seltene Möglichkeit bietet in die Musikszene und das Business einzusteigen.

Wichtig ist uns, dass du einen Führerschein besitzt & in Englisch kommunizieren kannst.

Heute gibt es einen kleinen Einblick ins Powerplay Studio in der Schweiz. Wir waren diese Woche dort zu Aufnahmen für einen neuen Song. Tolles Ambiente, tolle Leute - dies ist für mich eine andere Welt, in die ich immer wieder sehr gerne eintauche. Mirjam Kriesi has left the building🤷🏻‍♂️😅 We wish her all the best with the baby and her great family!

Stephi Feller:

Stephi is a paramedic with a decade of experience, having previously worked as a nurse, reflecting her lifelong commitment to the medical field. However, her true passion lies in circus arts, which paved the way, through a funny story, for her involvement in event business. Over the past years, she has had the opportunity to explore the show business, serving as a stage manager and project assistant for the show "Art on Ice 2022 / 2023 and the „Blues ’n' Jazz Festival". Additionally, she could gather experience as a tour manager assistant for "Seat Music Session 2022" and operated as a crew member in the "Circus Salto Natale Show 2022.“ Since May 2023 she is the new team member at the Powerplay Studios, managing the backoffice and the Powerplay events.
