@phillipswatches did it again. This weekend, its hammer smashed the rostrum 183 times to get over USD 43 Mln (CHF 39 Mln). Not the white glove but still an impressive sale which showed some correction of the prices on the secondary market.
Star lot of the auction, the @patekphilippe Ref. 3700/1 in Platinum got a world record for the reference for its USD 2,7 Mln.
Rolex Ref.6062 in Stainless Steel was sold for USD 2,3 Mln, getting a world record for the refeence in steel.
And a crazy @mbandf feat. @alainsilbersteinofficial "Chocolate box" Unique Piece twelve times surpassed its lower estimate fetching USD 339K!
Last year, Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo with the whote gove resulted in an astonishing USD 45 Mln (CHF 44,9 Mln).
