It‘s international women’s day today and I want to say how grateful I am, that I had the chance to work with a lot of women who raced earlier today in the season opener over the past years.

All of you are amazing rolemodels for an evergrowing female fanbase in this sport and countless of young karters from all parts of the world. Back in Valencia we also made a group picture with all women who work in the GEDLICH Winter Series and I‘m thankful for everyone who showed up that day to show solidarity.

The past few days at the pinnacle of this sport showed all of us that there is still a very long way to go. There seems to be a lack of understanding or care towards the topics of SA and abuse of power which is extremely frustrating and unfortunately a symbol for where this sport stands in terms of equality.

I just want to say I am grateful for every female driver, mechanic, team manger, mechanic and media colleague around. You make these paddocks a safer and more diverse place for everyone. At the end of the day we are all fuelled by the same passion for racing no matter the sexual orientation or gender we have!
