Bi Gezur, the new EP by Luz González, is out now on Everest Records

It’s a story of bodies that grow, merge, break apart and turn into landscape – a soundworld of anger, tenderness and joy. Luz works with sound like a physical material: stretched, deconstructed, reassembled into something that feels like sculpture, space, living substance.

“Bi Gezur” (“two lies” in Basque) moves between abstraction and narrative, with whipping rhythms, intricate sound design and distorted textures that slip beyond genre. It’s not just music you hear – it’s something you feel in your body.

On Bi Gezur, Luz González turns sound into something physical: rhythms are whipped apart and reassembled, harmonies blur, and textures move between abstraction and narrative. Anger, tenderness, and joy collide in a soundworld beyond genre—industrial and rough, yet intimate and vulnerable.

The single “Drifting Clouds Excerpt 2”, accompanied by a mesmerizing video by Andi Hofmann, is an extract from his latest album “Drifting Clouds”.

The cover, as well as the album artwork, was designed by Marc Brunner at Buro Destruct.
