Do you want to become a diver? 🌊🤿

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first scuba diving certification level. It is designed to teach you the basic knowledge and skills you need to scuba dive safely and responsibly. The course is divided into three parts:

Knowledge development: 
This part of the course covers the essential information you need to know about scuba diving, such as the physics of diving, equipment, planning and procedures, and marine life. You will learn through a combination of online learning, video lectures, and in-person instruction.

Skill development:
This part of the course teaches you the practical skills you need to scuba dive, such as breathing underwater, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures. You will practice these skills in a pool or confined water environment.

Open water dives: This part of the course takes place in open water, where you will put your skills to the test under the supervision of your instructor. You will complete four open water dives, each of which will be in a different location and at a different depth.

The deep dive is a required dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. It is a dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters. The purpose of the deep dive is to teach divers the skills and knowledge necessary to dive safely at depth. Divers will learn about the effects of depth on their bodies and equipment, and how to manage these effects. They will also practice deep diving skills such as buoyancy control, gas management, and decompression procedures.

During the dive, the divers will practice the following skills:

Buoyancy control at depth
Gas management at depth
Decompression procedures
Safety stops

The divers will also explore the underwater environment at depth. They may see a variety of marine life, including fish, coral reefs, and shipwrecks.

During the Night Dive portion of the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you'll experience the thrill of exploring the underwater world in the dark. Here's what to expect:

1. Pre-Dive Preparation: You'll have a briefing with your instructor to cover dive site details, potential hazards, signals, communication, and entry/exit techniques.

2. Equipment Setup: You'll need a primary dive light, a backup light, and other night diving gear for safety and visibility.

3. Entry and Descent: As night falls, you'll enter the water using a flashlight and use your dive light to navigate underwater.

4. Marine Life and Behavior: You'll witness nocturnal marine life behaviors, such as hunting or resting fish, octopuses, lobsters, and crabs.

5. Bioluminescence: In some areas, you might encounter bioluminescent organisms that emit a natural glow, creating a magical display of light.

6. Limited Visibility: Night dives have reduced visibility, so you'll need to stay close to your buddy and communicate effectively.

7. Navigation Skills: You may practice underwater navigation using a compass and natural references.

8. Safety Considerations: You'll learn how to manage your air supply, monitor depth and time, and maintain good communication.
