Do you still remember the 50 Amazing Swiss Women book? In September, Bergli Books will publish a second part of this series, all about 50 Amazing Swiss Immigrants!

The flower Edelweiss is the symbol of love for nature, the mountains and alpine joy of life.

Page E in our ABC book by shows a beautiful illustration of the importance of the Edelweiss for Switzerland. This symbol for Switzerland and many more can be discovered with the ABC.

For children aged 3 – 6.

🍹Is there a better way to enjoy the warmer evenings than tasting fun drinks?

Try out the Lemon Meringue Cocktail from 'The Vaud Cookbook'. It only takes 5 minutes.🍋😋

Ingredients:
•40ml La Roja London Dry gin (or another dry gin)
•20ml La Roja vodka (or another vodka)
• 1medium sized meringue
•Juice of 2 lemons
•Zest of 1 lemon
•10 ml limoncello
•Vanilla powder

Place all ingredients except the vanilla into a shaker with ice.

Shake for 1 minute until the meringue disappears and the mixture becomes frothy.

Pour into an iced glass.

Powder the surface with vanilla and decorate as you like. ✨

"Tina Turner moved to Zurich in 1994 and fell in love with Switzerland. She applied for citizenship in 2013 and studied German for her citizenship interview, passing it with flying colours. She’s called Switzerland home ever since. Over the years, Tina has battled a stroke, cancer and kidney failure, but has fought back every time. The girl who entered the world unloved, survived a hellish marriage and often had to fight for her life battles on with a smile on her beautiful face and a will of steel that is bigger and more impressive than the Eiffel Tower.“
