If you can pay them to teach you, pay, do not be stuck at a place.

Be hungry for growth.

If you keep looking you’ll be at same place you were last year.

What shyness does to you...

✍🏽 It takes away the moment; you’ll end up not enjoying the moment.
No I can’t do that, people will laugh at me, people are looking, what will they say, big girl like me etc. You’ll go home wishing you did the things you didn’t.

✍🏽 It stops you from reaching the peak of your life. You will always stay and stare at others, you’ll at some point wish you did so many things. And as you are always at the looking stage, you forget time is passing. Soon you’ll be fifty and never reached that height you desired.

✍🏽 It prevents you from going for your dreams. I’ll do it when I can..., I will do it when things are, I will do it when no one is... in the end you have dreams that were never attempted or achieved.

✍🏽 It keeps you at a place: shyness will prevent you from doing the things you need to do.

✍🏽 It will prevent you from truly living: in the end you’ll look back and be regretful.

In the month of September for 30 whole days, I’ll work with you to take you from being shy to being a confident and fearless woman.

What shyness does to you...

I for one is not so keen about perfection. I believe in getting things done, but, my husband thinks I should always put my best foot forward.

Reason being, I don’t want to in a bid to do the best end up not doing at all.

But I think the best is still the best.

So, today aim for the best.

I remember in the just concluded program I went for, there were going to be lots of questionings and interviews, and I was there with over 50 ladies; what I noticed was, so many of them were so anxious and were worried about the questions.

The thing was, we had time to prepare and we were given study materials to prepare with. Ironically these women really studied ahead. So why were they scared?

While we were outside waiting, we decided to ask ourselves questions from our study materials; and they were doing well from my evaluation. I could say, so many of them knew way more than I did; yet were anxious and really wished the interview would be skipped.

However, I was just fiddling with my phone while waiting. They were amazed why I wasn’t fidgeting and afraid like they were. My response to them was “I have nothing to be anxious or worried about
I’ll go in there, get in the flow, answer my questions to the best of my ability and come out.”

I really do not know why people get so scared whenever interviews are mentioned, I can’t say it’s lack of preparedness, I guess it’s the feeling of being in a room alone and facing people you don’t know.

Because if the narratives were turned maybe to a written exam, they wouldn’t be so anxious.

That’s why, from when people walk into an interview room, the employers already know who it is, they will work with, even before they commence the questionings.

This is because, they look out for your confidence!

The confident person will get the job so much more easily than a counterpart that lacks confidence.

So, if you’re going to walk in that door again, go in with all the confidence you’ve got.

Another day to be intentional about building your dream life!

I started this write up earlier, let me complete.

We went for a program, they were supposed to give us lunch in between the four hours we were supposed to spend. But five hours later, there was no lunch.

Hunger started dealing with everybody. I felt bad most especially for the kids in attendance.

A man stood up out of anger and left with his whole family; wife and about four kids.

A woman was by our side and really wanted to leave but she had a presentation and couldn’t just leave, she came with her kids a ten years old and a six years old. Her husband wasn’t there.

Before we knew it, the six years old started crying of hunger. She was terribly hungry.

Good thing was, there was a lady that came to sell shawarma at the program.

The woman quickly orders 3 shawarmas for her kids. The little girl was really happy and ate hers so hungrily.

The woman took the last home for the last child that didn’t come along.

Later on, they started sharing food.

Dear Woman,
Your husband won’t always be there, when you are going out with kids always take food or better have money.

Not if your child needs water, you’ll say ‘wait when you get home.’

Hungry? wait when your daddy comes.

Often we may not really know how our events will turn out, even though we’ve really planned.

It’s good you always have a plan B.

Focus on building yourself.

Be ready for situations.
Try to avoid being taken unaware.

Have vex money
As well as emergency money.

If your child needs pencil, you should be able to buy. Without necessarily waiting for your husband or having to call him.

This woman’s case is a typical example, she didn’t plan to be out so long. Maybe she wouldn’t have come with her kids but she was able to take care of their needs so she could focus.

Be intentional about your life Dear Woman.

Dear Absolutewoman,

A woman’s needs are more than that of the man.

A man may go out without remembering to use his sure, but a woman won’t.

A man can take his bath with Eva soap, but a woman would want a Dr. Teal, mixed with Aveeno, spiced up with CeraVe, covered in Cetaphil with a touch of vitamin C serum and a sunscreen to blend all.

She will use a lipstick, lipgloss, lip liner at the same time on the same lips. Remember the man did not even use a lip balm on his lips.

She will buy, brown powder, foundation, eye pencil, eye shadow etc

I am even tired of writing the things women use 🤣🤣🤣🤓. Our wahala too much.

Then every month; pads and all the rest.

Then we check your bank account, nothing. But you spend the whole day on Facebook and TikTok with a touch of Zee world.

But you expect your husband to live long and happy when you are not supporting him.

How possible?

Go find something productive doing and make life a little better for him.

So that instead of shortening his life span, you are increasing.

Dear Absolutewoman,
Back in the days men brag about their wives not working.

They will discuss how their wives are at home and they place them on salaries so they can manage the home.

They discuss that their wives are too soft and shouldn’t stress.

But times have changed.

The Nigerian economy alone is a pusher.
It will chase you from your comfort zone.

As human must eat, you will have to go looking for daily bread.

I urge you woman,
In as much as he might still want you not to stress, deep down he still needs your support.

So Whatever your hands find doing, that can make life a little more comfortable for your family.

Please do.

This is not the era for lazying around.

May God help us.

If you can buy dish washer buy
If you can buy vacuum cleaner buy

If it’s not against your family values to have house helps, pls get one or two.

There’s no reward for suffering.

Soon you’ll be aging and start looking older than the husband that married you because of too much work.

Take life easy on you.
Work no dey finish.

Anywhere you stop today, continue tomorrow.

Whatever you can afford to make life easy for you pls get it.
