Last night’s episode of #Station19 stirred up a range of emotions, but we’re particularly drawn to the dynamic between Tash and her sister, Jinny. And can we talk about the flawless casting and incredible chemistry between @MerleDandridge & Yunjin Kim?! |
Jinny had us all ready to jump through the screen at the beginning, especially as she lobbed a wild accusation at Natasha, insinuating that she wasn’t connected with the Korean side of her. In reality, Tash is a proud biracial woman living in America where most may see her as just a black woman, but she still proudly embraces her entire identity as a Black AND Korean woman despite societal perceptions.
There were several moments throughout their initial interactions that may have had us feeling uneasy; however, the episode ended with the most beautiful reunion between the sisters and a Korean cup ceremony, Hapgeunrye, led by Jinny herself after she explained the truth behind her initial actions.
People sometimes hurt others to divert attention from their own pain or seek revenge, as seen in Jinny’s case when she discussed her divorce after trying to break up her sister and Sully; however, Tash and Jinny’s honest conversation helped mend their earlier disconnect.
While the season is wrapping up, we’ve cherished learning more about Natasha’s background and wish there was more time for exploration. Big thanks to everyone who joined our live watch party - see you next week! 🤗

Tonight is the S7 mid-season finale and 100th episode of #Station19!!
Y’all know we love us some Chief Ross. Her undeniable perseverance & willingness to stand for what she believes is right is so admirable. A lot has happened so far, and it seems as though she’s having to make hard decisions once again. We have so many questions, but what will the answers be?!
Shoutout to BZ Cullins on this collab! Such an incredible talent. 🙌🏾

Exactly 2 weeks until the #Station19 season 7 premiere. What a journey it has been. Merle Dandridge joined the cast as Chief Ross in season 5, and was upped to a series regular by season 6. This character has taken on such a powerful role and continues to represent what it’s like to be a woman on top. More specifically, a woman of color on top. With the show coming to an end, it’s definitely going to be hard to say goodbye. So incredibly proud of this entire cast, and can’t wait to see what’s in store during this final season. Comment your favorite Natasha/Chief Ross moment! ❤️🔥🚒👩🏽🚒#MerleDandridge #MDgang #NatashaRoss #TeamChiefRoss
Another year down, forever to go. | This year brought some of the most incredible memories. 2022 ended with our girl Caroline Queiroz meeting Merle, and 2023 ended with two more of the gang having done the same. The Last of Us premiered on HBO, we got a final season of Truth Be Told with Merle as Zarina, and a breathtaking season 6 of Station 19. Having each of these shows, with such powerful characters, gracing our screens at one time was such a joy to witness and way to start the year. Merle Dandridgeled the cast of “A Little Night Music” Pasadena Playhouse, and received well deserved recognition for her performance as Desiree Armfeldt. Merle narrated a beautiful Renee Flemming concert TWICE this year, once in LA and another in Cleveland. To end, Merle wrote, directed, and starred in a short film called “In The Quiet” which was shown at a film festival in NYC at the beginning of December. This year was truly one to remember, but there’s always so much more coming. Be on the lookout for more of Merle’s phenomenal work coming 2024. Let’s do this, y’all! 🤍
Hey Gang! Last night was the ceremony of Sentinel Awards, the event which celebrates some of the year’s most impactful storytellers and we want to congrats @zclack and @zsinnett for receiving the Depiction of Systemic Racism award for writing “We Build Then We Break”, season 6 episode 7.All the cast and crew of @Station19 deserve applause, but we want to highlight Merle Dandridge, Barret Doss, and Jaina Lee Ortiz for the Marvelous acting in this tough and necessary scene. We can’t wait for March 24 to see what more they are coming up with. Until then, let’s rewatch on Star+ and Hulu. #Station19 #MerleDandridge #MDGang #TeamChiefRoss #JainaLeeOrtiz #BarretDoss #SentinelAwards
Aphrodite - The Ritual
We are very happy to congratulate all the cast and crew of “Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical" for the nomination at the 66th #GRAMMYs category for the Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media. CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉🍾 👏🏾
As many of you know, Merle Dandridge voiced Aphrodite, one of the many characters in the game Stray Gods. She is an idol serving on the Chorus, and the Goddess of Love, but for someone who oversees such a pleasant subject, the goddess herself is a tortured soul. During the war that brought the Idols to Earth, Aphrodite was kidnapped and tortured by the mortals, agony she can’t stop reliving every time her Eidolon is passed between successors.
You can check the soundtrack on digital platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer.

As @merlefans says: Happy #MerleMonday, y’all! A few weeks ago we asked our followers to answer some questions pertaining to Merle, for example “If Merle was a flower, which one would she be?” We gathered the answers and it resulted in this beautiful and fun video. We love you, Merle Dandridge! 🩵🩷Have a great week, gang! #MerleDandridge #MDgang
