VIDEO GAME VOICE AUDITION OPPORTUNITY
Submission Deadline December 21st, 2024
DACAPO Audio Productions is pre-casting voices for recording dialogue for a new video game along the lines of Warhammer ‘Chaos Gate Daemon Hunters,’ with the majority of recording to happen in 2025.
We are asking voice actor candidates to upload the following material to https://dacapo.wetransfer.com/ (our WeTransfer portal. Details on how to use are at bottom of this post)
- Self-recorded audition (audio only) reads done on your smart phone or computer
- A short resume and contact information including email and phone number
Once we have received your pre-casting audition reads, we will review and invite those who are shortlisted to attend a more intensive audition at our studios with our voice director. Please note, recording this pre-casting read on your smart phone is just fine, and the quality of the actual recording will not influence your chances of being invited to the second round of auditions.

We are currently only looking for non union male voices who can speak with either the Received Pronunciation (RP, or Standard Southern) English Accent and/or the Cockney English accent, and who are available to record in Winnipeg at our audio studios in 2025.

Again, to summarize:
- This is a pre-casting exercise only
- We are looking for non-union adult male voices only
- All candidates must be available to record in Winnipeg in person in 2025
- All candidates must audition with either a Received Pronunciation or Cockney English accent
- Record your audio audition at home on your smart phone or computer
- Recording quality for your pre-audition is not important
- Upload your auditions to our WeTransfer portal along with your resume and contact information (details on how to upload are below for your reference)

- Successful candidates will be contacted for an in-person audition at DACAPO studios.

To upload to DACAPO’s WeTransfer:
1) Go to https://dacapo.wetransfer.com/ and click on ‘Accept All’
2) Drag your audio files and resume to the add files icon
3) Fill out the required fields by entering your email address, a title for the transfer (like Andrew Smith’s Voice Over Audition), and a short message telling us what you are sending (for example 2 audio files and a resume)
4) Click ‘Transfer’,and WeTransfer will send a verification code to your email address which you entered in step 3.
5) Enter the verification code once it appears in your email and click ‘Verify’
6) You will then get a confirmation screen saying you have successfully sent us your audition. You don’t need to email us to make certain we received the files.
