When Brooklynn and I were planning her wedding content, it came up how I love to shoot film ‘just for fun’. She asked if I could bring my film cameras, and just have fun with it.

I’m so happy with how her film turned out, and it was so special to capture these special moments behind the scenes on film.

There’s a lot of discourse around what equipment defines BTS content creators. In my opinion, as long as you communicate with the vendors, give video/photo time and space to capture the ‘hero’ shots they’re there for, I say BTS content creators can have fun using whatever the Bride & Groom wish for, whether that’s Iphone, Film, or Camcorder.

Just ensure there is communication and collaboration and everyone will come out on top! 🤍

For Jenn’s Bridal shower we brought two disposable cameras just for fun and extra content. I love revisiting a day on film. It gives it that extra nostalgia feeling, and tells a whole other story.

Welcome to Whitney Studios —

Combining my passion for content creation and social media marketing, Whitney Studios came together effortlessly after becoming engaged in 2023. I have been dreaming of my wedding day since a little girl. As you can see, I was the main character in my parents wedding, acting as if it was my own big day🤭

As my wedding planning began, I couldn’t turn off my ‘Marketing and Project Manager’ hat. The excel sheets, mood boards and art direction for our own wedding could not be stopped! I soon found myself turning my wedding into its own brand and now I want to help curate your day too 💒

As much as I felt ‘in-control’ of all the planning for our engagement party, it wasn’t until the next day I realized I didn’t get any photos of just myself, or the BTS that I intended to shoot, because I got carried away! As someone who thought I could create my own content at my own event, I soon realized, someone else needs to take the reins so you can enjoy all the special moments with family and friends.

I’ve always had a natural love for visual and photo content and I’m excited to bring together my passion for weddings along with social media content creation. It takes a village to tell your wedding story, and I believe it’s the little behind the scene moments that can bring so much joy to your big day!
