About the Role: Residential Leasing Administrator
We’re looking for a professional Residential Leasing Administrator to join our team full-time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday). In this role, you’ll play a vital part in our leasing operations, from managing prospective tenant inquiries to processing applications and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Salary: $18 - $20/hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly address rental inquiries via email, phone, or text.
- Qualify and pre-screen prospective residents.
- Maintain effective communication with the Leasing and Property Management teams.
- Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with applicants to gather required documents.
- Update the prospect pipeline daily and create guest cards as needed.
- Record detailed notes in Yardi for all communications.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- High School diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or administrative studies are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
- Cheerful, optimistic, and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Yardi software is a bonus.
- Self-motivated and proactive with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
