If you believe, like I do, that OUTtv provides a much needed service to our community, I urge you to follow the link and post in support of their application to be a "must-carry" station on cable services.

Here is my statement of support:
OUTtv is an important part of Canada's LGBTQI2S community. It is essential that is as available as possible to all Canadians, especially those that live in fear and shame and need to see more representation of the community in which they belong without judgement. By making it a must-carry, no one will be forced to explain their subscription to the channel to judgmental family members. In addition, it produces some amazing Canadian-made content that is also shared with the rest of the world through streaming platforms showing the globe that Canada is a welcome place for both our community and the performing arts. In addition, this request will help ensure OUTtv's financial viability for the foreseeable future.

The CRTC is an independent public authority in charge of regulating and supervising Canadian broadcasting and telecommunications
