Tonight I was so lucky to sit in while the cast of Act were rehearsing.
I have to say I am in complete awe of the whole cast and the dedication they are putting into this upcoming production, but these two men are true geniuses.
First Carlos Anthony, for not only writing this truly engaging story, but also putting himself out there to be the lead actor, a first for him.
And what can I say about Chris Rabideau
I knew he was passionate about the theatre, but to see him in action directing, wow! Blew my mind.

Amherstburg Freedom Museum is an amazing, humbling place to visit. To see all of the artifacts that have spanned generations of black culture was very emotional to experience.

The Amherstburg Freedom Museum has also been helping Arts Collective Theatre with their newest play coming out, The Price of Freedom. ACT and I thought it only fitting to celebrate the Amherstburg Freedom Museum and make sure to highlight their 50th Anniversary at the beginning of Black History Month.
