We are heartbroken by the news of Amy Ley’s passing. We were honoured to have worked with her on our concert with 4th Wall back in January. Her enthusiasm for collaboration, breaking down barriers, and connecting more people with the healing power of music was deeply inspiring to experience. She was a lovely, warm, and caring person and she will be deeply missed. 💔

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Amy Ley, the visionary Artistic Director of Fourth Wall Music and a brilliant harpist whose music touched countless hearts. ♥️🎶

As an artist, Amy was a rare talent—her harp playing was not just technical mastery but a deep expression of emotion, weaving beauty into every note. As the Artistic Director of Fourth Wall Music, she shaped the organization into a vibrant cultural force, fostering creativity, inclusivity, and excellence in the arts. Under her leadership, Fourth Wall Music became known for its commitment to innovative programming, its dedication to up-and-coming musicians, and its ability to create intimate, transformative experiences for audiences.

Her love for music was matched only by her generosity of spirit. Amy had an uncanny ability to inspire others, whether it was with her captivating perfohonores or her mentorship of young artists. She believed in the power of music to heal, to bring people together, and to spark conversations that transcend barriers. Her legacy is one of unwavering passion, tireless dedication, and an enduring belief in the beauty of collaboration.

We will remember her not just for the music she made, but for the community she built—one of warmth, creativity, and deep connection. The arts world has lost an extraordinary leader, but her influence will continue to resonate through the music she so lovingly nurtured, the artists she mentored, and the audiences whose lives she touched.

To all who had the privilege of knowing her, we offer our deepest condolences. A new live single is coming out at the end of the month from Crissi Cochrane!

I’m very glad to announce that I’ll be releasing a new recording on all streaming platforms this month! “Take This Waltz (Live)” is the Leonard Cohen song that was our concert finale last January at the Capitol Theatre, when collaborated with . The song will come out everywhere on November 30. 🤍

Congratulations Crissi Cochrane!

The happy face of a girl who can now proudly announce that I won a grant from the ! In the time since discovering this news, I’ve already completed tracking my guitars and vocals for a 5-song EP that I’ll be releasing next year. This is my first time recording something longer than a single in FIVE YEARS, and I’m deeply grateful to the OAC for supporting and validating these new songs.

Also thanks to for having me as an official busker yesterday! It was a pleasure to be part of the soundtrack of our city for an afternoon.
