On Saturday, the 2024 SCORE Championship kicked off at the 37th San Felipe 250, where the Polaris Factory Racing team maintained their UTV racing dominance, with Cayden MacCachren claiming first UTV Overall and 2023 UTV Pro Open Champion Brock Heger securing second. The recently unveiled Gen 2 Polaris RZR Pro R Factory race vehicle performed flawlessly through the grueling 285-mile course, once again proving itself as the most superior UTV in the field. Fellow Polaris-supported racers secured the top finishes in UTV overall with Branden Sims in third to sweep the podium, Kristen Matlock in fifth and Polaris Factory Racing teammate Max Eddy Jr. in sixth, respectively.

Volcon’s vehicle roadmap includes both motorcycles and UTVs. Its first product, the innovative Grunt, began shipping to customers in late 2021 and combines a fat-tired physique with high-torque electric power and a near-silent drive train. The Volcon Grunt EVO, an evolution of the original Grunt with a belt drive, an improved suspension, and seat, began shipping to customers in October 2023. Volcon will also offer the Runt LT, a fun-sized version of the groundbreaking Grunt, better suited for small-statured riders, more compact properties and trails, or as a pit bike at race events, while still delivering robust off-road capabilities. The Brat is Volcon’s first foray into the wildly popular eBike market for both on-road and off-road riding and is currently being delivered to dealers across North America. Volcon is also currently delivering the Volcon Youth Line of dirt bikes for younger riders between the ages of 4 to 11. Volcon debuted the Stag in July 2022 and entered the rapidly expanding UTV market and previously announced that it expects to begin shipping the Stag to customers in the fourth quarter of 2023, which has been delayed as noted above. The Stag empowers the driver to explore the outdoors in a new and unique way that gas-powered UTVs cannot. The Stag offers the same thrilling performance of a standard UTV without the noise (or pollution), allowing the driver to explore the outdoors with all their senses.

The Canadian Snowcross Racing Association hosted the Kawartha Lakes Regional Snowcross event presented by Royal Distributing & Yamaha at the Lindsay Exhibition in Lindsay, ON. The event attendees, including both racers and spectators, highlighted their compassion and dedication to their communities by donating over 500 pounds of food to
support the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. Saturdays UTV 1000cc Turbo class winner was #19 Roger Gale (Can-Am) from
Moonstone, ON. #667 Lenny Veljacic (Can-Am) Stayner, ON finished 2nd followed by #16 Marc Brier (Kawasaki) from Kapuskasing, ON in 3rd.

The UTV Production 1000cc class winner was #72 Ken Avann (Polaris) from Sutton West, ON. #16 Marc Brier (Yamaha) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2nd. The CSRA heads to Sudbury, ON for the Sudbury Pro Snowcross races presented by Algonquin Equipment & Ski-Doo March 2-3, 2024.

Volcon, the first all-electric, off-road powersports company, announced today the signing of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC). Volcon believes this collaboration marks a significant step forward in the development of EV technology for both civilian and military applications.

Under the terms of this CRADA, Volcon and ERDC will collaborate on research and development efforts aimed at enhancing the capabilities of electric vehicles, with a focus on creating dual-use products that benefit both warfighters and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in their support of emergency services disaster response.

Following a very successful presence at the 2022 Drive Fest thanks to our popular side-by-side ride-alongs, we are back in 2023 with even more thrill-inducing activities. This year again, visitors will get a chance to tackle a dedicated off-road trail onboard some of the most capable recreational vehicles on the market.
You will get a chance to go for a ride onboard such models as the Teryx KRX 1000eS, Teryx KRX4 1000eS SE, and Teryx4 Special Edition alongside a team of professional drivers for a unique off-road experience.
Motorcycle enthusiasts will also get to sample the latest and best in the Kawasaki street motorcycle lineup including the all-new 2024 Eliminator and Ninja ZX-4RR, as well as the unparalleled Z H2 SE or the stunning retro Z900RS Cafe thanks to our street motorcycles demo rides.
