In recent years as the Audio and Music Department Lead at Debajehmujig Theatre Group, I have been presented more than a few opportunities to act in a Producer Role for language translation through media arts projects! The more recent works were leading a translation of a 10 episode series from English into Anishnabemowin. The series "Unsettled" was produced by Jennifer Podemski and I navigated the barriers created by COVID in 2020 to find language speakers and facilitate the process of translating each episode, word for word, using 3 female and 3 male voice actors! The series can be seen on APTN as well as TVO, in both versions. Also having founded the annual Wiikwemkoong Arts and Music Festival which started in 2018, I have been recognized as one of the few Indigenous Arts Presenters by my peers across the continent and acts as a stake holder and International delegate in International Indigenous Arts.
