What if I told you finding health & being able to heal isn’t about all the fancy tools? 🫣

Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the tools & modalities work. But what happens when you’ve tried it all and it isn’t working?

So often we look outside of ourselves for a “thing” or a person to fix us.

But the answers you need to be able to heal really are within you.

Having a person in your life who can help guide & support you is important when you can’t see yourself fully.

A client of mine was struggling with her health, despite doing all the “right things”. She was eating well, moving her body, & has a good family life. But she was still struggling with pain in her body & a diagnosis that she didn’t understand how she got there.

When we met & discussed what was going on in her world, I was picking up on a lot of stress that she was experiencing.

*Stress can literally be the thing thats bringing on all your symptoms.*

What we did was work through ways she could manage her stress, which really revolved around her making space & doing things for herself. Once she started implementing ways to give herself more rest & calm her nervous system she was able to remove her symptoms.

Now she can feel when she more stressed & she is able to manage any symptoms when or if they do come up. She realizes she holds the POWER to change her state & how her body is feeling by making simple changes on her own.

Sometimes its not about the next fancy gadget or tool, sometimes its about choosing yourself when you need it most 🤍

If you would have asked me a month ago, I wouldn’t have known what it felt like to rewild.

I went on a retreat in the beginning of April called Rewilding, the intention to open us up and experience rewilding.

During our first night together we sat and went through a meditation. The question was asked “What does it mean to you to rewild? What does that feel like to you?”

I realized then, that I don’t think I’ve ever felt it.

I’ve always kept myself in a box, not wanting to disrupt or disturb. I push my emotions down & “save them for later” never wanting to bring them back up. I don’t let my body be free in dance, worried about what people might think, feeling uncomfortable even when I’m on my own with no one to watch.

Why was I so focused on protecting myself and not letting myself FEEL the good and the bad.

I became aware that if I want to feel free in my life, I have to first feel free in my body.

I have to stop holding onto things, mainly my emotions. Give myself permission to express myself. Not just my thoughts or opinions like we often attribute it to, but express my energy & my feel into my body. Allow it all to move through me without holding it in.

Rewilding to me is freedom, flow & the ability to just let it all out!

When we hold ourselves back or in, we don’t allow our fullest life to happen.

Allow yourself to find your wild ✨

Often I see the first step to healing any symptom is overlooked. Why?

Because people love a quick fix & to bandaid their symptoms.

Real healing & health requires you to put effort in and do the tough work.

The first step to healing your chronic symptoms… AWARENESS!

You need to first be aware of what got you here. Was it a habit? A lifestyle? An emotion?

What is the reason you’ve been experiencing these long term symptoms?

This is the first step I help women with in my Mindful Woman program.

In our initial consult we discuss your goals & history. This is where I connect the dots & we get to see what needs to be addressed so you can HEAL! Being aware of what lead you to your symptoms will get you to the root of what’s causing it so you can get rid of them for good!

Peaceful Girl Era 🌸🤍

I’ve frequently found myself in life at a point of burnout or high stress. Over the past couple years I’ve been learning that this way of living I have been in really isn’t serving my health or goals.

I was always rushing & focused on what I’m working on, always the things that I was ‘doing’.

Now I’m at a place in my life of ‘being’ ✨

Being more present with myself. Taking time to pause & enjoy simple things.

In this place of being I am mentally clear, calm emotionally & physically less tense. This is my neutral space. It’s who I am at my core without all of the external influences.

From this neutral space things are simple. Even when there are challenges that come my way, I am able to adapt & shift as needed. I no longer trying to control things.

This is what being able to regulate your nervous system means.

You be come adaptable, resilient & can always come back home to yourself.

Home should be a place where we feel safe, supported & stable. I’ve learned that with a DYSregulated nervous system those qualities of home aren’t felt.

My peaceful girl era is about coming home ❤️

Coming home to myself in a way that I feel safe, supported & stable.

I hope you get to come home to yourself someday too 🤍🌱

Here’s why ⤵️

Stress is one of the number one things I see clients struggling with and is the root cause for a lot of their health concerns.

The state of your nervous system tells me the state of your health.

If you’re experiencing symptoms, you don’t need to “fix” your nervous system. It isn’t broken, it just needs the right signals going to it.

Your nervous system responds to the input you give it. This input comes from your lifestyle & patterns you find yourself in.

Your body doesn’t make mistakes, it’s coping.

It coping for your job, emotions, daily activities, nutrition, relationships, finances, etc.

When stress is continuously put on you, you either need tools to use or a lifestyle change that supports you.

In The Mindful Woman program we find solutions and tools for learning to manage the stress being put into your system.

We help the body feel safe so that it can let its guard down.

We help the nervous system become resilient.

Stress will always be around for you to experience but you can create a lifestyle where you support yourself.

You can have skills that help you through tough times so you learn how to cope with it ✨🌿

But our nervous system only wants to keep us safe. It will choose the normal comfortable experience over the exciting new uncomfortable change.

So often I see women in my practice struggling to regulate their nervous system, heck I am one of them. Which is why I created The Mindful Woman, and 8 week journey to heal your nervous system. To get your health & your life back on track!

It’s only trying to keep you safe. But that doesn’t mean we have to accept this state and that we can’t change it.

When your nervous system is able to adapt & regulate we make better choices ✨🤍
