As a marketer, the thought of a TikTok ban on the 19th is so frustrating to think about involving following growth and audience reach. At the snap of a finger, 121 million American users are gone—just like that.

And for Canadian users? This is going to ripple across the platform big time. Many of your following on TikTok may be American and many of your customers may be from there as well.

It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed thinking about what this means for all the connections we’ve built on the platform. But it’s also a wake-up call to start prepping.

We’ll figure it out together—because this is not the end, just a big shift.
