Since 1995, Dj Ken Lindsay has been helping people celebrate all types of event's in their lives. Whether it be their high school grad, anniversary, new years party, birthday, buck & doe or their dream wedding, every event is special because it's YOUR big event. Being the son of a gifted piano & vocal teacher, Ken learned to play a variety of instruments at a young age. His passion for music and e

ntertaining followed him throughout his adult years and it was through his Dj business that he found an avenue to share his passion with others. Starting out Dj'ing in the bars, Dj Ken took advantage of an opportunity to Dj a co-workers wedding and it was then that he really found what he loved to do. Helping people celebrate the big events of their lives is where Ken found his passion. Ken has now performed at close to 1400 events with 775 of those being weddings. You can be assured that when you hire Dj Ken you know that you are getting an experienced Dj and entertainer. There's a cool story behind this pic.

The groom Billy contacted me pre wedding and asked if I'd accompany him with a song he wanted to play at his wedding for his bride Lindsay. I, of course, jumped on the opportunity and said yes. The song had an inside meaning between the two of them.

The day came, and I lent Billy one of my guitars. He came out in front of the guests and performed the song beautifully.

As a Dj, I truly believe there's so much more to offer a couple than just the experience that occurs during the dance. I believe in looking for opportunities to create a special moment like the one between Billy & Lindsay.

Oh....

The song was Hockey Teeth by the Bahamas.

Did you know that one of the options available for your ceremony is to have professional vocalist and guitarist Ken Lindsay perform live.

Listed in the pictures is a list of 100 songs you can pick from that Ken Lindsay currently performs for wedding ceremonies. You would typically pick 4 songs for the 4 parts of your ceremony.
1) Bridesmaids entrance
2) Brides Entrance
3) Signing of register
4) Exit song

If there's a song you love that isn't on the list, ask Ken to see if he can learn it for you.

Corporate events like yesterday's cyber convention are always a pleasure to provide services for.

The main RCF sound system was set up in the conference room with an additional satellite speaker halfway up the room to assist with sound in a hard to reach section.

A wireless speaker was also set up outside to provide music and sound from inside the building for those outside having fun.

5 wireless microphones were provided for a panel of guest consultants giving a fireside discussion.

Dj services were provided throughout the day with live music provided by Dj Ken Lindsay in the afternoon.

It was a fantastic day filled with lots of opportunities to provide different services.

The look on the brides face says it all. ❤

As an interactive wedding Dj, one of the struggles I run into is the wedding industry, and clients think of the Dj as being that person whose main role starts at dance time.

I disagree.

A wedding can be divided into 4 segments of a day.
1) Ceremony
2) Cocktails
3) Dinner
4) Dance

Each segment of the day is an opportunity to do something special or unique for the couple and guests. That is why I've worked so hard to develop my own brand of wedding entertainment where there's a mix of live music and Dj'ing. It's also why I've invested heavily into being an interactive MC.

I truly believe that a wedding can be both elegant and fun, it doesn't have to be one or the other.

When you're planning your wedding, look at the whole day and reach out to Dj Ken for some ideas to help turn your wedding into an extraordinary elegant and fun experience.

A few weeks ago I purchased some umbrellas that attach to stands. That purchase paid off today as I was able to offer some light cover under wet trees. It's the little things that matter most when needed. Beautiful duo, they sounded amazing!

A beautiful micro wedding this morning for Terri & Marc at Horseshoe Valley Resort. This was a special request performed for the signing of the register. Rev Carmen Novosky performed an amazing ceremony and Dawn coordinated the whole event. Capturing the moments each step of the way was Jessica Burke Photography. Such an amazing team to work with!

Practice session for this Friday's wedding at Horseshoe Resort. The couple requested Afterglow by Ed Sheeran for their ceremony. A beautiful song! ❤

Spent the day yesterday helping Kaydee and Christopher celebrate their wedding at the beautiful Valley Croft. The owner Kate was so easy to work with and accommodating. Spent an amazing day at the beautiful Falls Inn and Spa in Walter's Falls. It's been a few years since I've been there so it was a real pleasure to be back. Meg and her staff were completely on point for Vicky and Gerald's wedding. My compliments on a job well done!!
