Mass registration happens tomorrow, Tues. Sept. 13 at Prairieview Elementary School from 4pm-6:30. There will be lots of activities to sign up for and a skate swap. If you have equipment to sell, bring it early with your name, phone number and a price labelled on it. There will also be a professional skate sharpener on site that specializes in Figure Skates, but can also do hockey and equipment repair.

Come and check this out! The last few years has been tough on many households and people/families with the uncertainty of their jobs and finances. Rosie's Gift of Love is here to assist everyone in need of clothes, focusing on children's clothes. The timing of this event coincides with the beginning of the school year. One thing we all know is children grow way too fast! Sandy works hard all year collecting clothes for this event and has the help of many volunteers to sort and get them displayed.

Inclusion Foothills is partnering with Vulcan FCSS to put on Step Up, a support group for parents who have children with disabilities and are looking to connect with other parents who have similar experiences. Our first date is October 22nd, from 1-2PM at the Youth Centre next to FCSS – preregistration is required to ensure COVID protocols can be followed.

Building Brains Together's research team has put together a COVID-19 Parent Stress & Resilience survey which will run until September 9th. Participants are eligible to enter a draw for a $50 Superstore gift card. The link to the survey is www.buildingbrains.ca/parent-survey . The intended outcomes of this survey will help inform social supports and services in Southern Alberta both for the remainder of the Covid-19 pandemic and in future emergency responses.
